    for sale, $30

fully peyote stitched glass bottle for your *goodies* or anything else. i'm selling it for less that the work is worth, and its a fairly nice size, very roomy. plus, you can slip the peyote stitch part off if you want and put it on a really fat/giant dreadlock ;D

My friend has been trying to learn the peyote stitch and just can't seem to get it. Is there a good reference guide that anyone could recommend?

    Ain't it the truth!

I recently made several peyote stitches for dreads for a local bead shop. We weren't sure how to price them, since only another beader would think that they're worth what I'd get paid by the hour. LOL. So, I looked at the Fattest and Phattest one, a deep blue one with a bright green lizard crawling up each side, and said that I wanted $20 for that. We weighed it and it was around 40 grams. We laughingly decided to charge about $2.50/gram for my peyote stitch work, because it's so hard to decide what to charge for such intense work.

I wish I could have posted pics on here. There was the lizard one, one with stars of David that were red, gold and green intertwined against a black background, trippy rainbow diamond patterned ones, a blue and green and white one. Sigh. I hope they sell.

    Love the nug jar, BTW.
