the stink that stays is way exagerated. i used to smoke X times in my rooms for days without opening the window then when i opened the window to do some cleaning. there was no smell at all (other ppl wouldn't notice any cig smell).
smokers or not, your house should be aerated anyway.

 

i dont smoke ...........what i hate more than anything is parents who smoke around thier kids i think its absolutly disgusting especially when there is so much information out there about smoking and what it does to you

 

Wow! I can't believe how many people here are smokers!

I'm allergic to smoking, so I really wish they'd ban it here in the UK. I just wish I could go in public places like pubs, restaurants, or bowling alleys. And I wish I could walk down the street without having to go to great lengths to see if anyone in the distance is holding a cigarette and dashing around all over the place avoiding the cigarettes.

The worst thing of all for me though is they smoke where I work and I can't make a fuss or I'd lose my job. The laws are totally unfair.

 

I smoke in my house...always have

 

last year we would smoke in our dorm room all the time. we'd probably have 20+ cigarettes in there a day..in this tiny confined space..but i got so used to it i didn't even notice it anymore..though many people told me it stunk badly. This year in the house we live in we dont' smoke it it...i would if the other people were cool w/ it but that is not the case..(despite the fact that 3/4 of us are heavy smokers). in my hometown area i hate the fact that smoking is banned indoors at public places... but at least the bars put out seashells as ashtrays since the law is not really enforced. here in pittsburgh i can smoke all over the place. It is terrific.

 

I smoke inside, it just gets cold or its late a night, despite that, when i smoke during the day mostly i do outside.
