Mickey Rourke is such a good actor. All the movies i've seen with him in it have had some of the best acting in it and i have enjoyed every one. He is really underrated. Does anyone else feel this way? What was your favorite movie with him in it? I liked Sin City and Spun.
I'm glad you've said this, because I've just been going on about Angelheart. Watch him in that film and see if there's one moment where he's not in character. He gave it all. Literally. BTW, I think he went back to boxing for a while. He prefered it to Shittywood. I wonder why. Better to make a few good watchable films rather than a long list of shit grit. Long live Mickey Rourke.

His best acting, in my opinion was in Barfly...really intense, playing an alcoholic. My fave movie of his is Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man...he is SO freakin' hot in it.
It's because of the boxing that he looks the way he looks now. But the movies I saw him in were Angelheart, Sin City, and Once Upon A Time In Mexico, and his roles in those movies were amazing.
See Mickey in Wild Orchid and Rumble Fish. He's good even in that waste of reel, "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man" with the insipid Don Johnson.
I heard that they named him sexiest man of the year in some magazine somewhere, but the year that they were thinking of was 1984.
