*Lilly's Halloween Costume*

Lilly decided to be a goth looking bat or butterfly for halloween. I finished her dress and overskirt but I am not sure if we should do bat wings of butterfly wings.............................. I can just do the clotheshanger thing and shape em like bat wings and cover em with black fishnets and spray em with some glitter, but I really think bat wings will look best with it!!

cool thing is the dress cost probly less than $8 to make, better than spending $25 on a kids halloween costume at wal mart or something

*gulps* I really, really need to learn how to master my sewing machine. We ordered our three kids' costumes from an online site, and spent a whopping $140.00, and I still need to get a few more things to complete them.

At least they've been getting use out of the costumes though, and it's not even Halloween yet. They LOVE them, and I was so pleased with the quality, I had to write the company because I was so beyond thrilled. They were made by a dress-up company in Miami, Florida and they are of excellent quality, not cheaply made like those costumes at Wal Mart and whatnot. I mean, I can't BELIEVE that they can charge $25.00 for those things! I could see maybe $15.00, but $25.00? Not with that type of quality.

But yeah, when I see that you spent maybe $8.00 to make your daughter's costume and I spent a small fortune for mine, makes me feel pretty sheepish. :&

hippychickmommy, i woldnt feel bad, i normally go insane for halloween and spend tons of money on decorating the house, and the kids, and me, and we make a big huge deal and throw a party LOL

this year tho i dont think there will be a party, just trick or treating and maybe a carnival or something, see if the kids can win some costume contests and then give all the parents a flyer for my website HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

i need to get to work on my costume too, all i have so far is my boots and some red and black striped tights LOL i may make a matching costume so me and lilly can both be bats =) i wonder when she will start to realize i am a big dork and decide she doenst want me to dress matching her anymore HAHAHAHAHAHA

omg, that looks so cute. She's gonna look so great on halloween. Im thinking oflil' outfits for my lil baby(my puppy) to wear on halloween. She loves to waer clothes, I swear I never met a dog more human than her. Anyways, if you come up with any outfit ideas or outfits, I'll buy it from ya. Anyways,Lily is gonna look pimpin with that dress lol. holla.
