You must wonder so deep into the archives every few months are dig out all the old posts

 

Haha, I know what ya mean HFG. At first I really didn't pay them much attention, I hated Ray's organ sound! Then I was writing an article on them and had to do alot of research, well the more I read the more I liked them and the more I listened to their music. What incredible chemistry they had! I still haven't heard ALL their music....someone mentioned I should listen to 'An American Prayer' .....great recommendation! hehe... I just don't wanna burn out on them too soon!?

 

I never spent time to listen really, put off by the pretty boy image mainly. As soon as you hear "Oh isn't he lovely, they are wonderful" makes me want to stay well clear. Getting to know them more nowadays.

The Doors are one of the best! In fact, I am wearing a Doors shirt right now!

 

.....I don't really look at them for their looks, but rather the musical talent and what not. When I got The Doors Greatest Hits album and I heard the gutiar solo, I was all 'Who is the guitarist?!?!?!' And I loved the keyboards and drumming. I loved it all!

 

they are easily one of the most overrated bands of all-time.

 

hey lake 'o' fire,....yeah, i play in a band...sometimes I use their album covers as posters for our band. people really like it. oh man the doors are fuckin' kick ass!!!

The doors have the best front man of all time in my opiniun i just wander what he would be doing now musicaly,, or probly shaking his head at the chart dribble!!!!!!!!

i like them but i don't really think they were the best band ever
they didn't made a revolution like the beatles or someone else and that's what it needs for a band to succeed,i think someone needs to be much more different than the others to be noticed among zhe audience
