Hey yall! I have been looking for baby names and I have come up with a few that I fell in love with. Boys Travin Levi (My parents names are Tracy and Vincent so I just combined them) Travin Hart Levi Hart Girls Clover Riley (just thought of Clover today. I love it but I am looking for a more unique middle name) Cooper Gayle Riley Kay Yeah well I am not pregnant yet but those are there for when I am. What about yall?
i love levi - but it's turning into a commerical name!!!! cooper for a girl is lovely, and clover and riley - i think most women come up with their baby name's!!!!! its wierd
yeah i was thinkin the same thing about levi. I dont want my kids to have the same name as everyone else. I am realllly liking clover
Girl- Kyra- Got it from a Stephen King book. It's a really pretty name. Alice- I know it's a kind of plain name, but it's a nice name. And I don't know many people with it. Shayla Sheila Boy- Elijah Isaiah Ezra I have a thing for Hebrew boys names.
Girls: -Zoe Rebecca (Zoe because I love the name and have said I was going to name my first daughter that since I was 6 and Rebecca after one of my closest friends) -Sophia Reina (after the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid) -Emilie Isabela (no real reason for Emilie but Isabela after Belle from Beauty and the Beast.. and also if Emilie/Emily is too popular of a name, she could go by Isa- pronounced Eeesa like in Spanish) -Gwenyth Elena (Gwenyth because I love the nickname Gwen and Elena as a Spanish variation on my grandmother's name) Boys: -Owen Marcus (Marcus the great grandmother's last name that I was named after) -William Arthur (William after a good friend and so I can call him Liam and Arthur after the King Arthur Legends) -Ethan Joseph (Joseph after my brother) -Graham Elliot (Graham after two good friends) I really have to have at least one meaning rooted in all the names. Over the past few years, my choice in names hasn't changed much and I'm not budging on anything about naming my first daughter Zoe.
lol I don't know why everyone is lovin' the name Riley. We were thinking Riley for the baby I'm pregnant with now. Clover is beautiful. I like that one! I want a more unique name for the baby but Chris has yet to like any I do except Riley.
Well, I'm not going to be a mommie, but the names I've have always liked: Girl: Arwen (yes, I know, I'm a fan) Boy: Damien or Dorian Having no middle names is something I shared with my brothers, so I wouldn't have used one if I'd had kids.
hmm those are great names.. a lot of them i wouldnt have even thought of. I do like alice... and i have a friend named Tara Jane. I think that jane is a really cute name even tho its kinda plain
my son was almost elijah, and i had Ezra on my name list too, but for a girl. i like the name kieran river if i ever have another boy. and if i ever have a girl i like helen.
Current short list.... Gaea Hazel Rain Sophia Lily Maeve Lennon Raphael River Adam Kiran Taliesin Also really like Faith and Jonas, amongst other things. Will just wait until I actually have children and see what suits. Have some fairly specific criteria... Unusual names I've always hated that my given name is common. Names that have personal meaning/significance. So that there is a good story behind them, and hopefully my children will appreciate that. Should be obviously male/female name Life is complicated enough without people not being able to figure that out. My own first name is unisex, but the middle name is very feminine so that balances it out. No repeat initials To avoid confusion. Sounds a little fussy, but I need help narrow my list down.
my son is going to be named Aydin Lennon Sky, if he was going to be a girl Esila ( my middle name backwards) Joplin Star... other names i like boy- Kestrel Garcia Kaydin Winter Eli girl - Promise Harley
There are so many names I adore, the only one I know for certain is that my oldest daughter will have as (one of?) her middle name(s) the name Leocardia because every oldest daughter in my family for generations has had that. I think it's a nice tie to my grandmother and her mother and so on
I've been thinking about kids forever, i can't wait to be a mommy!(but I'm going to wait a few years you know, college, and then i plan to go to medical school) but I've come up with names for my twin boys(That's what I've decided i want to have first) Gabriel Lucipher(it means messanger of g-d, bringer of light) and Hayden Lastat(I'm not sure what it means but i like the way it sounds. I've thought of middle names for my future daughters Monroe(after my great-grandfather), and Toni(after a good friend of mine who died a few weeks ago)
Boys: Jude Leo Thomas William/Liam Girls: Ava Eleanor Emmeline Isabelle Julia Katherine Lillian/Lilia (nn Lily) Madeline Susanna As you can see I have a much easier time with girls' names
Ophelia Xanthia. Cecilia Renee (my middle name is Renee). Eulalia Heidi. Nora Jane. Clara Louise. Vada Sophronia. Theodore Timothy. Charles Isaiah. And yes, I want to use Isaiah for religious reasons, not because it's suddenly overly trendy and being spelt in hideous ways such as Eizayah, Izayah, Izaya, etc.
Damnit, Isaiah's becoming trendy? Oh well. It's still a nice name. Hopefully, when I have kids, that'll die down. Understand that my name is Jessica, and I know how annoying and confusing it is to have the same name as everyone else in the room. Especially since the whole point of having a name is to distinguish you from other people. It would be nice to avoid that happening to my kids.
For Girls: Solaris Sophia Olivia Seraphina Willow For Boys: Jayaraj (Ravi Shankar's Indian name for George Harrison, who is my personal hero) Danahi (yeah, i got it from a disney movie, so what) Lucas Ethan ~Peace Layla
I try not to think about it too much, but I do wonder from time to time how often people regret the names they've given their children. With that said, tentatively speaking: Girl- Braelyn Addison or Addison Sula Boy- I used to like the name Ezra, but it's far too popular. The hell if I know. TBD
Damnit, Isaiah's becoming trendy? Oh well. It's still a nice name. Unfortunately, yes. And it's mostly being used (or so I've observed) by people who have no idea how religiously significant Isaiah was for Jews and Christians. It's so sad.
