Jeez. This poker thing is everywhere now. ESPN, EPSN-Classic, Fox Sports, and even the game show network have gone crazy with poker games. How does ESPN and Fox justify this as a sport? ESPN runs poker games all night long.

Then they have a crowd of people in the room with goofy smiles on their faces like they are watching a football game or something. :)

The gambling industry is really pushing this stuff on people.

Next thing you know, the Comedy Channel will be declaring poker as comedy and carrying 12 hours of it overnight.

Ya, i don't really understand this whole poker craze either. A bunch of amateurs with fat pockets and gambling problems being exploited is what I think it is.

Yeah,it is kinda strange...all of the sudden poker is everywhere. I think pool is next...and is it just me,or are those two of the most boring things to watch? It's different if you're watching friends play cards or pool...but watching rich people play,on tv,just isn't very exciting.
Now,if all those people were playing Extreme Dodgeball, that would be pretty funny to watch.

We need something to spice it up. How about 'Girls Gone Wild While Playing Poker'. :) Or, 'The Pete Rose Poker Show!' Maybe someone else here can come up with some ideas.

Or perhaps Jerry Springer Poker where a big fight breaks out amongst a bunch of sore losers. :)
