How typical. It's the woman's fault. She's the slut. She got drunk. What about the asshole that took it upon himself to invade her body? I am shocked and upset that no one is talking about what a prick this guy is. How many of us can say we've never gotten drunk? I can't. That is the only thing that I can see that this girl did "wrong". Yes, if she was too drunk to realize a guy has fingered her, she has a problem...with getting too drunk. How does that make her a slut? She didn''t ask him to do it, or even notice it was being done. It's attitudes like this that allow rapists to roam free. "Oh, she was drunk, she asked for it...she's a slut...look how she was dressed." Put the blame where it belongs.

 

Alot of other men would call them "lucky".

Bottom line is,there are plenty of nuts out there, and you do have to be responsible for yourself to the best of your ability.

If you're not out with your SO then it is best to go with friends as a group.

I used to hitch all over this country when I was coming up, never had a big problem on the road, but did run into a couple of pervs.....nowadays I wouldn't hitch to the end of my road.

It's sad...but true...they ARE out there. And they WILL take advantage if they can.

It's best not to put yourself in the position of not being on top of things, if you really want to get that shitfaced, stay home and do it.

Teepi I always like reading your stuff on this website. I agree that anyone who wants to get shitfaced should stay home to avoiding driving home drunk or getting into a situation beyond they're control. Ok, now I ain't perfect. Last Summer I was to shitfaced to even find my keys and fell asleep with the car doors locked in the parking lot. Even though I was drunk (but not brain dead) I wasn't so out of it to go home with the few guys that asked.
And to make it clear I haven't been to a bar at all this year....course since I came back to NH last month, the town I'm in doesn't even have a bar.

But as responsible women we do know they are out there, sad...you should be able to trust, but alas,can't always.

I'm happy nothing happened to you or me, I have ended up at parties after the bars closed and passed out at houses of people I didn't know.....

I have a daughter thats 28 and I told her the same thing.....please know your limit when you're out, and if you reach it and want more, go home and drink till you puke or pass out, or pass out and puke(no good) or puke and pass out(even better)...

I live in a dry couty, its a 20 mile round trip to the county line for piss beer, or 50 mile round trip to the "big" city for half decent stuff ( we like stout), but I usually drink home made wine coolers...1/2 diet lemon lime and 1/2 red wine....
or vodka and ginger ale with a twist is my hardcore drink, and we are out in the woods....so we can go outside and drink...NEKKID!!!!!

Well, this girl is STILL going back to this bar. I think that she likes it because even more guys are hitting on her. (I guess word got out LOL) Plus, now she's kinda giddy because a few guys have asked her if she is a stripper.

Plus I found out that the guy she got fingered by is a boyfriend of a good friend of hers, so that might be why she's saying she has no clue it happened.

I think this girl has flat out lost her damn mind. A month ago she got a DUI and blew a .175, and she is now driving on a suspended license, and she is still drinking and driving.

 

So now would you agree that this girl is a slut?

 

No, actually. Now I feel even more strongly that this girl has some serious issues & needs to see a shrink. She already has one DUI, yet still continues to drive, not to mention drinking & driving; she is risking a friendship over some dumb male (if he'd finger his gf's friend, he's a worthless piece of shit cheater); she is happy to receive any attention from males, even if it is simply in the form of objectifying her... Sounds like she is not doing a great job of recovering from some form of abuse -- whether it was molestation as a child or a recent incident of unreported date rape or whatever. Not that every girl that acts that way was abused, but so many of them have been...

 

and not every abused kid grows up to act sleazy! And not every woman who has been raped acts that way either! So thats not a very good excuse even if they do decide to act sleazy.

 

No I would not. I would agree that this girl has serious problems...mainly alcohol. Anything furthur is just speculation. I just don't like when women who dress a certain way, or make bad decisions, or act a certain way automatically received the ever popular "slut" title. Have we not grown out of the high school mentality of name-calling and putting people down?

 

Alot of people will claim to be innocent "good girls" cuz they only act sleazy when they are drunk not when they are sober....except they get drunk many nights a week. Even when it's getting cold outside, your innocent good girls will parade around the bar wearing skirts short enough to see what color their panties are or in some cases, see that they weren't wearing any. I have had one drunken girl try and show me her tattoo and if I had been drunk enough and wanted to stick my tongue out I could have licked her damn nipple ring too.. wonder if she would have acted like that if she wasn't drunk, but she sure was having fun that night.
I'm not a prude by a long shot, and have acted in ways that I probably wouldn't have if I was sober. Few times I went with friends or co-workers and had to hear them repeat my kareoke stories later at work, so I was either the gypsy cuz I moved alot for awhile or the crazy singing CNA cuz of my kareoke stunts. But no matter how drunk I got I was able to tell a guy to get lost....in fact if I was with a co-worker who couldn't get a guy to go away then she would have me tell him to get lost.

 

Whoa .. I was feeling for her because I was thinking " Wow - Maybe that guy slipped her something so he could violate her -why is everyone saying she is a slut, she may have been slipped a roofy!" but now knowing that he was a friend's man -- Yep she's a slut.

 

What about the guy??? Knowingly fingering another girl while he has a girlfriend? Sorry, he's more of a "slut" (hate the word, but everyone seems to be using it in this thread) then the girl is-she's just troubled.

 

I must be confused. Are you guys saying that sluts don't exist? And if you agree that sluts do exist but don't think this girl is one, what would would she have to do for you to let me call her a slut without any static?

 

No, I don't think "sluts" exist. In fact, I think it's sad that women still judge other women based on their sexuality or sexual choices.By judging each other based on our sexuality we are not only showing men thats its ok to do so, but we are locking ourselves into prejudice based on the fact that we are women.
This girl obviously has a problem with drinking and doing reckless things, but to hear that "shes a slut ", is disgusting in my opinion and there is no excuse for it. Men get drunk and engage in sexual acts all the time (including this guy, who obviously has no respect for his girlfriend if he's cheating on her), but a man is championed for it while the women he fools/sleeps around with are put down.

 

well, I do believe sluts exist. Just like assholes, stupid people, and bums. These things are open to interpertation(sp). In a perfect world, people wouldn't judge others but ....well, you know.

Ok, now she's really lost it, not only is she still going to that club (with short ass skirts on LOL), BUT....she just had sex with her sister in laws ex boyfriend. Who she (he sister inlaw) got pregnate by.You think this girl would know it's not good to sleep around since her baby daddy gave her an STD while she was pregnate with her second son.Oh, and I forgot to say that she has gotten pregnate twice by 2 one night stands, and had abortions. (sp)

I really dont know if I should try to talk to her about all of this, or just stay out of it!
