The freedom arms 454 is sorta cool, but that new smith & wesson 50 is a motherfucking firecracker -- I shot one at the illinois rifle association range south of kankakee - we shot up some paint cans full of water - and I’m still flinchin - if you work in brown/grizzly bear country u gotta buy a 50 - it costs a grand from the S&W custom shop, but it’s worth every penny

hey riot... how does the s&w stack up against the DE...... more/less efficient, more/less of a kick? I know the de damn near knocked me on my ass the first couple of times...... Which one is a more stable gun overall(less like to miss/hang fire)

Desert Eagles have serious feeding problems - I’ve got a couple and they jam up every 15 rounds - and the ammo costs 100 bucks a box - they look cool, but they’re really gay - the smith is a revolver, so there's no problem with reliability

revolvers have little to no kick as well correct? Sounds like I may be going with mr. smith, and mr. wesson even though I really love the look of the DE.... The feeding thing isn't an issue since I don't think I'll e ver need to fire off 15 rounds in a row..... the kick is the big issue for me.

U R correct Dirk, the FN TPS Tactical shotgun is the best weapon on the planet - for anything other than military applications, the TPS is all that a person needs, if somebody breaks into ur house and u have a TPS, and u know how 2 use it, then there's gonna b a dead home invader

    Revolvers have a little more recoil than semi-autos - but recoil is not an issue with the 454s or the S&W 50’s - if u r comfortable shooting a regular colt 1911 .45, then u’ll b cool with a 454 and/or a 50 - it’s not like shooting a 300 Weatherby Magnum -- that’s a hard kicking motherfucker - ouch! Was getting ready for elk and tuning up the new 300 - ouch - I miss my 243 girl-rifle

and 121, r u talkin about "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels?” 'cause that's a great fucking movie

i can't even wrap my hands around a DE. fucking monsters, man.

for hunting, my favorite was my Ruger M77 7MM Rem Mag. i was super comfortable with it. ease of use, weight, kick. perfect.

I’ve got a lightweight Dakota M97 in 7mm Mag, and that fucker kicks like a mule. U shoot a 7mm Mag KC? That’s not a girl gun - any girl who can use a 7 is super cool - u r the coolest chick in the 4 corners

lol. i've got a bit of ... ahem ... padding in the shoulder/breast region. dave has to use a shoulder pad to shoot it. it was just such a kick ass gun. i'm getting another pretty soon. honestly, i didn't think the kick was too bad at all. that gun was my baby.
