I, as a girl, when I was little was told to "grow up and get over it" also... but did I develop the sort of mind that should even think it's terrible to cry? No.

I distinctly remember crying a few times in school, kindergarten and the like, for getting hurt or bullied and numerous teachers, other children, and my own parents telling me to stop being a baby about it, or to not cry. But, do I feel like it's a shame to cry ? No. I developed my OWN mind.

I feel no sympathy either, towards the girls/women who act a certain way, and ultimately get treated a certain way. I DO feel sympathy towards PEOPLE who are putting a serious effort into everyday life, to make something of themselves, and either money, the government, jobs, etc. is a barrier.

If your upbringing, and the media is your only barrier...or "fear"...I feel no sympathy.

When I cry, still, I am told not to. By my boyfriend, by my parents, and others ... But I don't let it stop me. If I have to cry, I cry... and I don't give a shit WHAT people think.

Don't get too worked up about him... He's proving himself quite well to be a troll... They get their kicks posting crap and hoping to get someone all worked up... You won't win with him -- he's convinced all women are evil and out to get him... That same victim mentality that he accuses women of having.

NOBODY is saying that men or women are evil.
