American Toilet Flushes are best!!!:

New York Toilet Flush: Bowl already three quarters full of water.Craps float about freely.When button is pushed - all water is vacuumed out & bowl is completely emptied dry.Then same amount of water is replaced.


London Toilet Flush: Only small amount of water in bowl.Water splashes everywhere when dumping load!!.
When button is pressed - water cascades like a waterfall down onto crap untill the composite weight of contents is pushed by the force of the water through the u-bend pipe.Hence new water has replaced old water.


Flush the fashion: import u.s. flushes or re-design ours!.

 

doesnt water flow the opposite way down the drain on different side of the equator?

 

Er..........does it?.This is news to me.

 

I believe north of the equator water makes a counterclockwise swirl when it goes down a drain. Clockwise if you're south and flushing. I'll have to check that next time I flush.

 

yep it's counter clockwise here in the north. This whole discussion reminds me of that episode of the simpsons where Bart calls a bunch of countries to ask which way the water flows.
