all he did was soundscapes.... as ive heard hes done for the bast decade or so... it was great some prick told him to play something.... it was awfull im so glad he didnt walk off of the stage... waht a asshole eh??
no no i saw him at berklee... i don tthink that he was pathetic. i think if you expected him to play something else.... than yes he cold uave been, but he was doing all of that ... by him self
Yes, Fripp is indeed married to Toyah. And he's a guitar prof as well, teaching young malleable aspiring artists. I'm actually more partial to his ISLANDS work with Crimson, but the soundscapes are quite nice nevertheless.......
Id rather see him with king crimson........ he is a good guitarist, dont get me wrong, but he could get quite boring.
I saw him opening for Porcupine Tree, too, at the Keswick Theatre in Philly and I've gotta agree that it was a little...sad. He got a standing ovation, but I didn't really see why. He just played some ambiance stuff...probably the same few chords over and over again for 45 minutes. I just wish he did more. He had 45 minutes to fill up...he could've gotten a little more creative. At least PT kicked ass. Too bad it was a seated show though.
that's cool. i never did get anything with eno and fripp but i'm a big fan of king crimson and eno (especialy ambient 4). if he ever comes around where i am i'll have to go, but i don't know if he will.
