not sure if this is against the rules so i apologize ahead of time to the admins if it is, i'll behappy to EDIT/DELETE it if necessary i'm looking for people in Bucks county Pennsylvania, near sesame place (levittown)... i just moved here from wyoming, where there werent many headshops at all, with my g/f and cant find any good pipes or headshops, just those beat ass wooden pipes that require a screen to just keep the bud from falling 50 ft into the bowl are there any headshops around this area that sell metal pipes, preferrable a little metal shotgun pipe, and a one-hitter havnt really had time to look hard tho so i figured i'd ask on here
i know of a headshop called Frolic it has several locations in Pa and in De. but i dont know of a website or anything.
If you're willing to travel a bit. There in Benjamin Beetle's in Butler, PA & also a few in State College that I'm fond of. The Dragon Chasers Emporium is my favorite. Low key, but amazing pipes & bongs.
frolic doesnt have a website (makes it easier for them not to get harrassed) but if you go to newark delaware (where UD is) ask for joel, hes a good kid and will probably cut you a deal
figure out how to take the train into philly. take the R2 to either surburban or market, off of one of those is the headshop wonderland. its truely wonderful. i forget where it is exactly but its a lovely walk through centercity.
I'm from chester county Pa and I always go into newark to get my bowls/bongs. Flavors/frolics are a ripoff. And if you go in the shop and ask them for "bowl" in frolics they wont sell to you. because 'they only sell tobacco pipes" It's pretty lame
yea but you have to add the fact that im pretty close friends with the the glass manager so i get a pretty big discount. and i mean you you cant blame them for covering their own asses. im pretty sure anywhere you go your not supposed to call them bowls or bongs.
I dunno. I went into frolics once and payed like 50 bucks for a bowl I could have gotten in newark for 20. And I drove out there too. They kinda baited me. I went in there and said "Can I get one of those um.. ya know.. little guys with the water." They said "What do you mean?" I said "In the back, can I look around?" "Yeah, well what are you looking for?" "... a bubbler" "You have to leave." So fuck that place.
seems like you don't go to headshops often, or know the law. If you want to get into the back just go to the front counter and show them your ID. You dont need to say anything. Everything is called pipe or water pipe, always. I agree frolic is over priced. I like paisley moon in reading, they have good priced quality art.
lol, well the place I went in newark you can go in and say "I need a trippy ass lookin bong to blaze nuggs in" And they'll be more than glad to show you around. But yeah, that was my first time in a headshop. when they kicked me out. Either way fuck that, newark is were it's at.
Youre so close to Philly, theres gotta be some bomb glass near by... Theres probably even more of a chance youll find a metal one too without going far.. I mean they sell those metal ones here in NEPA just at the smoke store.. I almost got kicked out my first time, "you cant call that a bong!" lol
A place near bucks county, well im not sure, is Eutopia, in Easton PA. I dont live in the area but i live relatively close. They are officially a wicker furniture store, but they sell thousands of different smoking devices, almost everything you could imagine, their prices are fair, and they have everything from quality glass pieces, to shitty stuff.
