Well the song is up to opinion, as is singing, but remember, Dylan wasa bad singer, and just plain god awful these days. Yes, but whats the point, it's not Jim Morrison plus backing band, it's The Doors, it's a full band, Robby was a member of The Doors.
i used to like the doors a lot when i was younger. I think i overplayed them too much, now i can't stand them.
The Doors are one of my favs ever. But i agree about Morrison, that he wasnt the best singer but who the hell cares I mean listen to LA women or riders on the storm or people Are Strange (very interesting) or any damn doors song -- The music was just amazing and still is today, for me at least. I just added another cd to my Doors collection-The Doors greatest hits (2-disc) which is good but contains alot of songs ive got already.
i love pink floyd all you groovy people listen to them while getting high it's the greatest feeling ever!!!!
The Doors are the band that turned me on to music in general. Before that I was listening to like... shit I don't even know. Nowadays, I recognize that the Doors were ridiculously CHEESY, and Jim Morrison was NOT the poet and genius I once thought him to be. Still, their debut album and LA Woman have their moments...
love the doors music and jim morrison, 1970 was a sad year when jim, jimi hendrix, and jani joplin all died, love all of them. hippiewise
The DOors rock. Along with the Beatles they are my FAVORITE rock band. Jim was very cool, and intelligent. The DOors were the first classic rock band I ever listened to. Ray is my 2nd favorite keyboardist, Robby is one of my favorite guitarists, and John Densmore has a very unique and groovy style of drumming. It's sort of jazzy, and sort of funky (like in some of there later stuff like RIders on The STorm, LA Woman, and Cars Pass By My Window). They will live forever, beacuse their music is so great, and cause Jim was the "Electric Shaman". It's cool that younger people listen to it, but I say Right On about old farts listening to them too, cause it was out of the 60s generation, (people that are in their late 50s and 60s now), hippies and beatniks, that the toughts that inspired their music and lyrics came from. JIM RIP ". Let me tell you about heartache and the loss of God. Wandering wandering in endless night. Out here in the perimiter there are no stars, out here we is stoned immacualte".
