Reasons for wanting a mate....

I live a good life, just me and my two cats.....and at times it would be nice to have a female around to share times with but I just cant justify all the negetive aspects of it just for sex.
This is a serious thought im trying to find the answers for......Im very independent but Im waisting good years of my life alone.....

Any thoughts?

if you feel you're wasting your life then i'd say you should do something to change it... as for companionship... maybe you just need some good friends? obviously you don't need a relationship for sex, you can get it without commitment. hmm i might recommend going for some female companionship (friends) that may turn in to something else in the future, but i'm not sure what exactly you're wanting here... are you just wanting sex, or do you want companionship, or do you want both?

I think the spot you are in right now will attract a really good mate. You have been thru the shit and got your life together. You also don't need a relationship to complete who you are and all that bullshit.
I would imagine you don't need anyone to take care of you. You do a good job of that for yourself too. I know the spot your in and can relate.
When you do hook up with a mate it will be for the right reasons and that is to share the life you have made for yourself.
Also-Remember if it don't work out. What have you got to lose?

Ive been single for so long, I cook better than most females, I keep a cleaner house than most females.

I work and make good money and beleive its a mans place to provide for the female. So I need not a female to work.

Ive traveled to many places and countrys alone, which seems like a waste.

So the camp. and sex would be ideal, but nothing is forever and forever is what id require but here again nothing is forever,

My value system doesnt involve just havin a fuck buddy.

So here again ive another camper van all tricked out and ready to travel for a few months this winter and will probably do so alone, well one of my cats.

I guess id just like to find a average girl who can pull her own weight and be a partner in everyway. Also ive a semi extensive ed. and like smart females.

Maybe I just want too much.

 

I cook and have been a Chef. I have been a stay at home Dad and raised three kids pretty much on my own.
I also keep a really clean home and most people think I'm Gay!
I do all my own laundry and would rather do everything myself. So in my present relationship she's not here to do any of that and it's not just for the sex. That I could get by picking up the phone.
So our relationship is better and I don't need her for any of the other stuff people get in relationships for. As far as forever-yes nothing is and I have come to a point where I am detached from the outcome.
I also learned not to judge a relationship by the length of it too.
Also-all the expenses here are paid by me and I agree as Men we should provide for a female. It's out of style but when we lived in Caves it was the Men would provide and the women were in the Cave.
I don't need a woman to kick in anything for the home expenses.
In my present situation I couldn't care less if she ever worked. She spends her time doing Art and sharing our lives together.
Before this I would travel and do all sorts of great stuff-but would feel guilty that I was not sharing it all with someone who would not torture my existence.

With two cats. I'd say you got all the pussy you need! O.K. bad joke. Seriously though, I am so much happier having a partner than I was when I was alone. Having a family has put a little delay on my traveling, but it won't last long, and I will have some one to share my experiences with.

 

I guess its just finding the right one, but im so far out of touch, its been so long. Hell I cooked dinner for a gilr the other night and then just sent her on her way.....too stupid to think of anything else to do.

I was just happy to cook for someone....im a mess.

 

You're trying to answer questions that have been on guys/gals minds for millenia. I just split up with a gal less then a month ago that I thought I had so much in common with we'd be together for a very long time if not for life. After 8 or 9 months of getting to know each other, it turned out we weren't. Thats just the way it is....

You need to take chances and talk and meet gals to even know if you like them, no matter where you are or what situation you're in...as long as its tasteful(I tried to date a gal that I met a funeral and that failed miserably...haha), but what I'm saying is always keep an open mind, try to pick up signals if she's interested, and go from there.

Thats it....if you get a feeling she is, ask her out to get a taco or hit the bookstore or whatever you're interested in, or if you had enough time to find out her interests when you first met her, try to think quick and ask her out to do something related to her likes...

If it doesn't work at least you tried.

Yeah-Cooking for people Rocks.
My biggest beef with living alone was I ate out most nights. Cooking for one sucks.
Hang in there-I lived alone for a long time. Alone and Lonely are two different things.
Now I have my daughter living with us and someone else moving in soon too.
I out grew this place and now have to find a bigger place.
So from alone it's becoming a community.
Cooking will be the best for a bunch of folks.
Then I can bitch and moan how I am doing EVERYTHING!!!

Try writing down all the things you really enjoy doing in life.
Ya know like Camping. To me like top of the list.
Then when your done-go figure out where a female would be doing all the same stuff.
