smokin indoors

Ok heres the delima, I just moved to my dads and so therefore once again I either have to go outside and freeze my ass off, or find some way to keep it smellin 'nice' to his standards. Right now I have reverted to my old highschool methods of puttin a fan facing out the window like an exaust fan I also spray a bit of fabreeze in the room, following my toking and choking I burn some incence or a candle. This is good and all but parinoia is still a factor here, cause ill sit and smoke a few bowls and a nice fat doobie and thats a decient amount of smoke. Well the point of this post is just to get others ideas and methods of indoor smokin. Ive heard of usin a Doob Tube but I have yet to make one effective enough.

 

i didnt actualy read the post, but i just burn insence, and my room just smells of nag, and i burn one when i smoke and imo it leaves a rather nice smell

what i do is smoke out my window. what a unique idea! amazing how no smoke gets in the room when you utilise this window contraption that most of us have

i light up some nag, and use a bong buster, also i roll up a towl and put it at the crack of my door......tho my dad did notice the towl and said thats how he used to do it back in college...lol

 

I feel your pain, believe me....and I've tried everything...and believe me the paranoia never goes away...no matter how blazed you get. The best thing to do..is not smoke indoors but as we all know...sometimes you just have to. A dube tube works best when combined with all your other efforts or at least it seems to make me think it does...you know covering all bases...that damn paranoia. I've heard that blowing smoke into a wet towel works, dont know never tried...but my friend made a dube tube out of a paper towel rolls stuffed with first: half a wet paper towel, a whole one tend to not absorb the smoke and it just comes back out and infront of the paper towel put a fabric sheet so the smoke not absorbed by the paper towel goes through the fabric sheet the smell is not as bad plus combined with everything else...you should be fine...i hope this helps...good luck.

ummm... yea if you read well enough you would see that i do use my window and even take it a step further by putting a fan in the window facing outside. also i have noticed that you are a rather cynical in many of your posts, but alot of your mocking and sarcsim comes from simple things most of us would overlook or such as in this case are due to your own faults. on the other hand you also seem like a guy i would sit and burn one with. but being the type who observes others i think your an ass. judging by most of your posts and replies you seem to be insecure in your social abbilitys. you feel inferior to others so in this place of free speach for all, by all means use it if u feel it helps, you make fun of others for all to see. giving your self the title of Dr. gives others the impression you are intelligent, but those of us who can see through your mask you are just a jerkoff. so i feel i speak for many when i say: SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

 

in this particular case, this type of thread is on the legue of most commonly posted, thus whatever reply is given by most posters is going to be one theyve probably given many many times. i like to spice my answer up a little in this cases, however te direction of spice in this thread is due to my personal feelings on the subject. if you really smoked outside of the window then you wouldnt have to worry about the smell inside the house.
as i said, people make tonnes of anti smell devices. why? no seriously, why? why do you have any problems if you smoke out the window with a fan? if you think about what youre doing, there should be no smell. at all.

i mean look at that sunkist dude, he says hes tried everything. well if youve tried smoking out your window youll find there will be no smoke. obviously he hasnt tried everything, unless he doesnt have a window.

now bear with me here, perhaps its not as simple as i find it? whenever friends come to smoke at my place, there is only one friend who knows what im talking about, everyone else lets smoke pour away into the room.

when i say 'smoke out your window' im refering to holding the piece outside the window, as well as blowing smoke outside. it is best to hold the piece above the bottom of the window, so that smoke doesnt drift into the room. though this would not be an issue if there is a fan.

some people have air pulling into their room from the window, and to counter this you put the towel under the door and -especially- in winter time turn on your heater, because this pushes air out of the room.

im sorry to say but if you actually did it right then you would understand why i replied the way i did. however you dont, and this is evident by the fact you have asked advice here on the net.

fair enough, some people dont have windows. but everyone who does.. has no reason to be doing anything other than smoking out it, if theyre worried about smell. this means making the smoke go out the window as well, not just blowing it in the direction of the window, as 70% of people seem interpret this to be, and it also means holding a smouldering bowl out the window, not in the window, the mistake another 20%+ make, from my personal experience.

another thing to consider in my case is that here we smoke cones, and that means the bong doesnt have a smoultering bowl most of the time. however, i can still smoke joints out my window with proper precautions, so i dont think this is an issue.

last thing i consider is that some people are afraid of their neighbors seeing them smoke from their window, something i cant relate to in my situation. however, in this cases, people can simply do the old 'put enough in for one hit', much like how we smoke cones over here, and only poke head out to blow the smoke.

I just hate the fact that people are so quick to fling insults without even having the time to evaluate any info that might warrant such insults, or any other type of reaction for that matter.

 

just stick ur head out the window man, like bill said. do it in my bathroom all the time. The trick is actually stick ur head OUT the window, no or little smoke comes inside see.

 

I remember I had a screen on my window but it only opened the bottom and left the top attached, so Id take a hoot, cash the bowl with a penny or something, and blow it directly out the window downwards and it would just drift away. Works pritty good but be careful its easy to make mistakes and stink up the whole place.

 

ok well to say agian...i roll up a towl and put it by the door, light up nag, and choack the bowl. this worked agaisnt my dad....who by the way has a nose of a bloodhound....tho it worked with dnk so im not sure if ne thing brown would work.

You worded it really confusing, if you could clarify that it'd help a lot...

Because the way you said it I wasn't sure if your dad was ok with your smoking, he just didn't want it to smell like it...

haha the thing is...he is alright with it when the area doesnt smell like smoke....smiply becuase what he does not know cannot hurt him..and it turned out he was in the room closest to me. so the method i used worked out great. cause i was not caught.

oh, he is not alright with me smoking..hehe
