Now things are out in the open..did you know that Bush organized a group called "The Iraqi Group" 7 months before the invasion? It's soul purpose was to sell the war to the world and propagate lies in the media. This contradicts Bush's contention that war was the last resort. Why would an America president “sell” a war? Did he inquire Cindy Sheehan or the other 2000,000 families of dead servicemen that their sons and daughters where being “sold” for his personal gain? This is an outrage and a disgrace to this country and the American citizens deserve justice. There should be an independent investigation into this so called “Iraqi Group” and the real reason as to why our president would form such a group. This certainly doesn’t sound like a war on terror rather a con job sold to the American public and the world. If this group is real and the facts bear out…Bush and his cronies should be tried for treason and impeached.

Oh yeah! Then we get a different dipshit in office and does an even worse job. Then what?

I don't think Kerry would be any better, seeing as he was on the committee feeding Bush his information he went to war on.

By the way i googled "The Iraqi Group," and was unable to find any information on it, I found a group that was opposing the war with a similar name, but nothing linked to Bush. Please link me up. Thank you.

Funny how the apologists always run to the "Kerry would be worse" argument even when no mention of Democrats or Kerry as any alternative were discussed. Obviously they lack any concept of holding government leaders accountable, for actually betraying their office, their authority and the entire nation, and prefer to just let it continue (unless its someone from the "other" party). Wonder if those who founded our nation had to confront such complacency?

Newsflash for ya da, Kerry has no right of immediate succession to anything nor did the original poster make any indication of what person or even system he would advocate. The thread is about accepting our civic duty to call ever more loudly for the flagrant presumption of impunity to once and for all be blown wide open and those who have used it for their own ends, not the best interests of the nation, be indicted. No more no less than the exposure of criminality and corruption in the administration from whence these present oligarchs originally got their start, aka. The Nixon Admin.

What comes after should be informed and duly cautioned by a fully transparent public disempowerment. Certainly the public should be much more alert and awake to the frauds and abuses of the system (including the unconstitutional actions of the Supreme Court in 2000) that brought us to this point.

If we follow your disregard, what value at all have our founding principles of checks and balances? Even the barest semblences of liberal democracy will rapidly vanish if leaders need not fear any consequences from those they purport to serve.

LOL. Another "locked-into-reactionistic soundbite-mode" zombie joins the chorus of partisanly myopic and wholly irrelevant retorts.

Yes Inagoda, and far more so Bush who has flipped and flopped and spun and reversed to the string pulls of Rove and Cheney for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, the administration's flip flops have resulted in fraud, corruption, abuse of office, war of aggression, and treason.

Now back to the regular topic of this thread...

This was disclosed by the recent grand jury investigation..Libby and Rove were mentioned as members of the "Iraqi Group". All ya have to do is watch any news station in America to know this..it's no secret. I don't know why you would try to hijack this thread with Kerry nonsense, it has nothing to do with the topic. What's the matter, scared of the truth or are you one of the 1% of Americas richest who's enjoying the illegal tax breaks.

here's a couple of links that mentions the Iraqi Group
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/10/29/AR2005102901478.html?nav=hcmodule

Here's a quote from this article....
The uranium claims had never been significant to career analysts -- Iraq had plenty already and lacked the means to enrich it. But the allegations proved irresistible to the White House Iraq Group, which devised the war's communications strategy and included Libby among its members. Every layman understood the connection between uranium and the bomb, participants in the group said in interviews at the time, and it was the easiest way for the Bush administration to raise alarms.

All ya have to do is google "White House Iraqi Group"

One minute you're calling me a neocon, the next you're agreeing with me. Are you sure you're rowing the boat with both oars

Yawn.....so anyway I think Bush and his cronies should be charged with treason for deceiving the American people. There is no justification for forming a group to sell "his" war for oil and revenge.

Hmmm....your theory is flawed. There is a difference between facts and opinions. In this case it is a proven fact, not an opinion that Bush formed a group specifically for the purpose of selling the invasion of Iraq. This directly contradicts his contention that war was a last resort. In my book this is a clear case of treason. Also I've got a screw loose but I try to keep on topic......don't have an oar problem though.

It is also a fact that clinton didn't invade a sovereign nation based on that weak intelligence, let alone prop it up with a bag of lies.
