DXM changes my mind,NEVER EVER TOUCH IT AGAIN!

I did a small dose of DXM about a month ago. After that when I was hangin with friends for a long time moving around I would get really nervous and worried about nothing. Like I had to do something or get something done or be somewhere at a certain time and I was late or something. I did a 300MG dose of DXM last night, It started kickin in giving me wierd dizzy like feelings when I moved. I went upstairs and puked. Then went to lay down cuz the itch and dizzyness was killin me. I was also feeling super warm. Later that night, I tried smoking chronic to calm myself down....only made things worse, I put hte joint out 2 minutea fter lighting it. After laying down for about an hr I started feeling calm...floating and I was at a train of thought where EVERYTHING made sense, I couldnt explain it, but religion, different races,life,the world, nature all made sense on why they are all here. I was at peace with everything. And I kept thinking, sleep, if you die youll die in your sleep. I eventually fell asleep and woke up several times during the night...Cant remember what happened when I woke up But I know I woke up inbetween cuz my throat was super soar. Now this morning I feel so calm. Im still shakey but I always have been. But my mind just feels so clean, pure and light. Nothings worrying me and nothing is pissing me off. I dont even feel like smoking weed.jus chillin out. Layd back, listenin to Tupac. this is fucked maybe Im still trippin lol. But damn everything just seems so easy going today. At the same time it felt like the worst expeirience ever, with puking and such. The bad itch, the horrible feeling I kept having. I am never touchign that shit again. That shit has obviosly got to fuck you up in the mind.

 

DXM sucks, I tried it one time at a dose of approx. 600mg and fucking hated it. Tupac is amazing, by the way.

Just curious, why is this not in the psychedelic forums?

i downed 2bottlesof cough syrup. it was my 1st time and on ur 1st time u usually dont puke. i didnt and dxm was almost the best expirience ever, it was so fuckin fun besides the fact i thought i was gonna die and i was scared shitless. lol but it was just crazy man. musta been 100 times crazier than weed. i enjoyed it but also remember thinkin i was retarded while crawling on my floor to turn the tv off...man ur right that shit does fuck u up bad. but ive done alota reaserch on that and its just as harmless as getting mildly drunk. 1 of the few things i remember from that shit was dreamin i was sleepin in the cold on the bottom of the hill i live on...pretty fucked up shit man since i really thought it was true, also it last up to 6 hours...crazy shit man.

 

It's not as harmless as getting mildly drunk. It's not as harmless as getting very drunk. It CAN be very rough on the heart and cause lasting problems in some people. When I did it my heart beat increased to well over 200 beats per minute and I seriously think it almost exploded. This continued for 6-7 hours. It is commonly reported to cause tachycardia, which can overwork your heart in a very dangerous way. I'm not saying it's this way for everyone, but fuck, just be careful with it.

 

When on DXM it is very hard to give an accurate measurment with something like that. When I did it (which was a good experience for me except that I threw up...) I found it nearly impossible to make sensable thoughts, and time was especially distorted. I thought it lasted for hours and hours but once I threw up I looked at the clock and saw that it had only been 2 and a half hours. Even after I threw up, I thought I was dead because I didn't think time was moving, even though I was looking at the clock constantly and it was moving. (also I thought that if I stepped out my door that I would fall off the end of the world ). My point is that I doubt your heart went up that far, but it is possible, but DXM is relatively safe in that it has been tolerable up to and beyond 3000mg. Don't throw it aside and say its terrible just because you may have had a bad trip. If you had a bad trip on shrooms on your first time, try it again, but plan you day ahead differently. In the end its your choice though.

 

i threw up when i did it but i didnt mind it, it just seemed part of the experience

hey weedman.. i dunno after reading your previous report of gettin high from 180 mg was thinkning youd be a candidate for having the enzyme difficiency... but i dunno, i mean exactly how fucked up were you on 300mg?

only thing i didnt like about dxm was that it was too bloody weak! lol but it definately was the utmost wierdest thing in my entire life, absolutely nothing was normal on that stuff

i've done it twice, and i think it's pretty enjoyable. except for the vomiting, but it's not THAT bad. it's really hard on ur kidneys to drink syrup tho.

 

Let me put it this way, when I drank the shit it was a little after midnight and when I was still coming down from it the sun was coming up. And yes, my heart was definitely beating hella fast. It's a well known fact that DXM causes extreme tachycardia in some cases. Some people just have bad reactions to it. I'm one of those people.

A brand doesn't make you throw up... You can throw up from any kind of DXM. It's more of how much you take.

 

Nah, it will usually make you puke if you drink it too fast, because it doesn't give your body ample time to react to the syrup. In other words your system goes into a state of shock as a result of not having enough time to adjust to the chemicals.

 

I used to be addicted to DXM and I'll be damned if it wasn't the greatest month of my life. I am a different person after all that*.

Robitussin Cough Gels. 15mg pills. 20 per bottle. 2 bottles = enlightenment & one very fucked up liver.

 

Dexalone is the best. gelcaps, and DXM is the only active ingredient. I took a bunch of those once and didn't puke. The cool thing about DXM was the extra brightness of the colors the next day, thought the experience itself was pretty lame. Guess there were a few plateaus left. What is everyones dosages?

 

300mg - not much effect, 600 mg- second plateu, no visual effects, only perceptual

 

oh i forgot but remembered just then, after taking the 600mg, the next day my face was inflated around the eyes, i looked 5 years younger, and of asian descent. this went down over the next few days... ive never read of that happening and have no idea why it did.. wierd
