Hi, all--I got back late last night but was too tired to post after a couple days on a bus and in bus stations...it was sure worth it, though. You guys really have to make an effort to come next year...you missed an awesome party. Other than me and Bob, only one other forumer was there, but I can't tell you who he was because he asked me not to...except for HHB and his clan, of course-- but a bunch of other hippies showed up who'd seen my posts on a couple other cool sites and they were truly beautiful people...Many Paths, Free Spirit, Sunshine (and her brand new baby son), Wendy, and one other fellow whose name I can't recall to save my soul. I really had a great time, though, and was sorry to have to leave, although Dusty was sure glad to see me! He won't let me out of his sight, and he's so thrilled to be home and get things back to normal that he's purring himself silly. Honestly, you all have to try to get down next year. You won't regret it, no matter how inconvenient it might be. It is so worth it.
I wanted to go, but I couldn't make it. If they do it again next year, I totally will. Did you take pics? Or was it safer not to?? hehe
A LOAD of pics were taken, and I assume HHB will get around to posting some soon. You really should come next time. It was just wonderful. It's hard now getting back into the "real" world. That gathering seemed so much more real and natural to me.

It was wonderful, a very positive experience. Sam, it was about love and getting to know family better, and it was about being together and getting to look into the eyes of friends you have loved sight unseen as well as meeting folks you didn't even know existed and finding them a wonderful surprise. I can't say enough about how precious that gift is. I only wish more of you had been able to go. Please, do yourselves a favor and make plans to attend next year if at all possible! For those of you who have PMed me about my leg, it is much improved and I go to the doctor again on Monday, so I will give a full report then.
