why weren't the beatles ever at any big outdoor festivals, like woodstock, monterey or the isle of wight?
Perhaps because they thought they were bigger than Jesus they were too good for these filthy hippie festivals. They were much too great to mingle with the flock.
Also they knew that everyone would go nuts if they saw them. You people are obsessed with they beatles, it's always about the damn beatles. see why they don't mingle with people like you?
The beatles hated performing live. they said so many times. everyone just went nuts & started screaming all the time you couldn't hear the music at all. so they've decided to stop touring & focus only on studio work.
hmmmmm... yeah but i'm sure that at woodstock, for example, the crowd would be more pleased to see jimi hendrix go on stage then the beatles.
