Would you watch a Reality Show about a group of Amish people forced to live in a modern day house and society with no instruction on any appliances, etc.? Like an Amish "Real World"?

are amish people allowed to construct their own electrical appliances as long as the electricity is generated like by bicycle treads, or a hand-turned axle?
It was like, the amish teens got to experience life as us (most of us) and then had to make a decision if they want to stay with their amish family or be free in the city. BUT they wouldnt get to see their amish family again, because they would be banished> or something like that. am i right?
