Aww, thanks, and no problem! I was slow last night and didn't get things posted everywhere i wanted to--i knew all the grandmas would be angry if they read it on my blog before they got at least a personal email, haha, so that took me forever! Here are the official stats: Ember Rune Amann 9 lbs, 6.2 oz 21 inches October 26, 2005 1:31 pm And some pics: The official hospital pic All my babies *sniff* Ember with Mommy (exactly 24 hours old) I'm debating if i want to share the birth story or not, lol, it isn't pretty. i might just post a link to my (other) blog, i don't know. Anyway, thanks for all the congrats!!!
Congratulations She is so precious, all your kids are. Awesome name too, knew it would come eventually.
It was a great birth story! You are one tough cookie! get a nice herbal bath for your bottom to help it heal. If you don't like taking a bath, make a sitz bath instead to soak your bootie in. Comfrey, witch hazel, lavender, rosemary, calendula flowers and sea salt, but herbs in a muslin bag, boil water and steep for a few hours, add to your bath with a handfull of seasalt. Your bottom will thank you! Bring the baby in with you, it helps heal the cord stump too. Enjoy your babymoon!
