i have no idea why people get so pissed when they precieve that someone might be "trying to change their lifestyle" or when someone objects to the popular opinion of the area. i think both these things are actually more positive than negitave (within reason). the only people who should care are the ones who don't really have a "stable" reason for their opinion. whenever someone "challenges" me in one of these ways, i either feel more confindant in my lifestyle, opinion, whatever, or i realize that i might agree with them and a change might be due. reinforcment of my beliefs or realizing that i don't truely agree with myself. both good things.

i just don't get why some people can't take it when someone else expresses a different opinion.

 

cuz its like a guy in the kkk goin deep into the bronx and screamin WHITE POWER!!!!!! it's just offending. 95-99% of this forum is "pro-marijuana". why should some dick fuck be able to come into the forum and express negative thoughts about such a positive subject (positive in most of our minds) with out someone rippin him a new one???

 

because weed isnt perfect, and clearly these people also smoke weed and thus are somewhat pro marijuana. theres a difference between that, and being a fundamental weed-wingist

I say we start an "Overthrow Ellis" petition in the MJ forums just to test him.

 

because free speach is something that we all should naturally have. besides, it's a great opurtunity to correct him and any other readers who might be leaning towards his side.

but i totally agree, people have the same natural right to rip him a new one. i still say, there's no harm in it.

however, if a klan dude did that, it would be rightfully precieved by the bronx as a threat - a far more real one - than someone flameing marijuana. how they would probably handle it is questionable because one guy just being an asshole shouldn't harm anyone (i don't consider being offended harm) and is not going to change anything. it would be more productive to educate him and send him back to where he came from. that will most likely cause change, and positive ones.

 

StonerBill is awesome IMO! He taught me a lot about what I needed to know before I started smoking. I give credit for all my happy highs to him, and everyone else who helped me out on this forum.

He might be a bit sarcastic at times, but I doubt that any of us are free of that charge. The majority of his posts are full of useful, relavent, and important information.

I dont know bill, i know some of his posts i dont care for and im sure he feels the same way about mine, but i wouldnt start a thread/poll about the kid...that is very petty with a dash of kindergarten..
just cause someones opinions/thoughts are different from yours doesnt mean they are in the wrong...
we got in a debate today and i called him a retard (yes, im aware so dont need to point anything out to me)...but that doesnt mean he is or means that i dont like him..people have different thoughts, doesnt mean they are wrong..peoples thoughts clash, but who's doesnt...ya know...doesnt mean you have to actually dislike the person so much to make a thread about them...its the freakin internet...

ok, so really, either way, WHO FUCKING CARES? stonerbill isn't my "favorite" person here, but why should i concern myself with any petty disagreements? he seems like a good guy basically, and smarter than most of the dumbasses that post here.

but really, what kind of crybaby makes a post about "i dont like him cause he hurt my feewings"

anyway, even if you're going to make a poll about a person on here, at least make it fair. in your opinion, the highest status bill can reach is that of "an ok guy," whereas the other two are entirely negative. why not make another option such as "he's the best person in the world and i want to have 18 of his babies" or at least "cannabis superman" or something cool....

all of the options, no matter what you choose, are entirely based in a fantasized idea that you know this person. i dont know of any of the folks here having met him in real life (perhaps some have, hell if i know) but i can garauntee most of you DONT know him and CANNOT make any judgment regarding his insecurity or cynicism that is anywhere close to being based in real life.

seriously folks, you may not like someone here, but shut the fuck up about it. you dont have to read their posts and you dont have to come here at all. if you have an issue with someone's post, reply to the post or pm them about it. theres no need to make flame posts and polls about people. its a waste of time and bandwidth.
