....It seems we have to go back to square one and explain everything ALL over again. So, instead of individually posting everything in the different threads that fuzzy made, I'm going to make one big thread. GOD God is the creator. God is not a name, it is a title for the Deity who made everything. Another name for Him is The Lord. He made everything, men women the earth, animals, etc. JESUS Jesus is God's sinless gift to the world. Why was Jesus needed? Because men sinned. We couldn't help rebelling from the rules, because we're human. But when we disobeyed God, we sinned. So God, even though we screwed up, fixed things so we wouldn't be separated from God because of our wrong-doings. In the Old Testament, offerings of cattle/birds were made as sin offerings. During this time, cattle with blemishes/spots couldn't be used as offerings. When Christ came down to be the final offering for the sins of man, He himself was without blemish. He didn't sin; he didn't do anything wrong in the eyes of God. Like the cattle without spots, Christ had no spots. SINS Why do sins separate us from God? We sin when we try to rebel from God's law... In one way or another, we've all sinned. Some are minor (lies, etc) and some are larger (murder, adultery, etc). God won't make you jump through hoops to avoid sin because many of them are things we as humans don't believe are right.... Murder? Stealing? Even kids are taught at a young age not to lie. When we make the decision to sin, we're saying "God I don't want your laws hanging over me". When we do this, we're rejecting God also. God made the commands, if we reject the commands we reject the one who made them! It is written: Luke 12 8 “Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God. 9 But he who denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God. When a person rejects God, God will give them what they want in the afterlife: a place without Him in the afterlife. HELL Hell is the alternative for all those people who don't want God, or believe He's a fairytale. If you believe God is a myth, fine! In the afterlife, He will be a myth to you, and you won't see Him. However, when God dissapears, so does love, warmth, comfort, etc. They don't exist without Him. 1 John 4:16 We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. HEAVEN So wait, if we've all sinned, why aren't we all going to Hell? The answer is this: Rom 6:23For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God knows that we are humans, and we are imperfect, so He sent gave us a free way to heaven. It does not involve spending years becoming enlightened, or praying multiple times towards a big monument, all you have to do, is believe in Christ and accept Him as your personal savior. Romans 5:8 "But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." NOTHING'S WORTH TAKING THE CHANCE! It's simple to be saved ... Realize you are a sinner. "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" Romans 3:10 "... for there is no difference. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23 Realize you CAN NOT save yourself. "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; ..." Isaiah 64:6 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, ..." Titus 3:5 Realize that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for your sins. "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, ..." 1 Peter 2:24 "... Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood," Revelation 1:5 Simply by faith receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John 1:12 " ...Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."" Acts 16:30,31 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 Wanna be saved? Pray this prayer, and mean it with all your heart. Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and unless you save me I am lost forever. I thank you for dying for me. I come to you now, Lord the best way I know how, and ask you to save me. I now receive you as my Savior. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen.
so in order to prove god doesnt exist, we must prove that humans cant possibly live without "sinning". Erise, please explain to me how you can apologize for something YOUVE never done. Explain your rational, because i sure as hell cant understand why anyone would apologize for something they didnt even do, let alone know that it happend. we don't apologize for things we didn't do. We've all lied at least once, or disobeyed our parents when we were younger, everyone has something.
why did god sent an offering to himself, to have the creations from faults that he, as an omnipotent being, MUST have had control over, or at LEAST as an all knowing god, have known they were going to happen before they did, thus putting him in the position to stop them if they were against his liking

No, you admit that humans are destined to sin? If adam and eve had done what god wanted them to do and not eat the apple, then that means that they didnt have free will? So free will means sinning?
What do you mean? God told them not to eat the apple, not because he wanted to take away their free will but the fact that the apple would be dangerous to them. It's like a mother telling a child "don't play in the road" doesn't mean the mom is taking away the child's freewill, it means that playing in the road could get you killed, and you should avoid it.
If Adam and Even had refrained from eating from the tree, they would still be in paradise, yes? Thus, today there would be no sin, and we would have no free will according to you.
If Adam and Eve didn't eat the apple, there would've been many other chances for them to sin. Think about it, when they were in the Garden before they ate the apple, they didn't have the inability to sin then. Eve could still eat the apple.
