hehe, well you know i wouldnt turn it down it i was invited to be mod, but i doubt 'popular demand' is what skip cares about at all when it comes to chosing moderators, i think popular demand is actually a bit of a deterrant in these cases

good point...skip seems to be anti-popular decisions in my experience...when we brought up the background haha that was a fun campaign that was shut down pretty quick by skips threats to make the mj forums 18+

lol i never saw what resulted from those requests.. though i dont see how making it 18+ would effect anything, just skew things by making people change their 'age' bracket, making it pointless

 

ah i think he was just trying to shut us up. our main argument was that its hard to look at with parents around and he replied maybe then he should make the mj forum 18+, but yeah that would definetly just make everyone lie and fuck things up. repressive authoritive action always just results in rebellion.

 

did anyone ask bill if he wanted to be mod? I could see him doing it, but maybe he doesn't have the time or desire. plus, you have to pay to be a mod, has bill paid?

Why do you want more active moderation in here? I think overall, we get along just fine without a bunch of mods up our asses all the time. There might be some drama here and there but mostly we are a bunch of chill stoners that don't need any babysitters.

Wait, if Skip doesn't make decisions based on popularity, why don't we just elect someone everyone hates, like digitalldj? He would make a great mod (seriously).

 

I don't hate digitaldj. He's rather blunt about......well, everything. But that's cool as fuck, IMO. He doesn't hold shit back just because someone might get pissed, that's a plus in my book.
