I need your help. Me and my two brothers are planning a strong MDMA roll this weekend. This will me my 6th roll, one brothers 9th roll and my other brothers 1st roll. In the past my one brother and I have found that music appreciation to be the strongest effect for us and therefore spend the majority with that aspect. We dislike techno and rap, and enjoy listening to blues, country, jazz, rockabilly, and older rock. The Grateful Dead, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Alan Holdsworth, Albert Lee, and Brian Setzer are our favorites. If anyone could recommend music in a similair style as these bands (and there best songs/ albums) that they enjoy we would be enternally grateful.

I went to a Coldplay concert last year on E and that was awesome. Trance/techno to me sounds the best on E, rap the worst. I have friends who never liked "techno" until the took E, now thats all they buy. E opens your mind to it, then when you are sober you can hear the music differently because you have a new perspective. Sorry, I got off topic, my suggestion would be to try all kinds of different music because you might not know if you will like it on E, until you try it. Be open minded.

Have you ever tried listening to techno when you're rolling? Not the soft shit, either...try:
Infected Mushroom - "Acid Killer (featuring Xerox)"
DK8 - "Murder was the Bass"
Frankie Bones - "Studio 54 (East 27 Mix)"
Evol Intent - "Filthbath (featuring Corrupt Souls)"
    Anything from Sickboy

As for rock, I highly recommend Tool and NIN...Radiohead, Coldplay, Boy Least Likely To, or A Perfect Circle for something more mellow. Most of the groups you've listed are better for drinkin' or trippin', though SRV's "Little Wing" is good anytime. ;)

Rap isn't really good when you're rollin'...stick to the hip-hop; Busta Rhymes, Tonedeff, MC Chris, etc. A little Three 6 Mafia's alright, but might steer an otherwise positive MDMA experience into niggerish territory.

Sound Tribe Sector 9- definetly check them out, just great jamtronica/jamband they just have some of the sickest beats and theyre even more amazing LIVE download they're stuff! not only great music but great people behind the band!

Ive seen them many times and all the time they are just great people, keep an eye out because before a show they usually walk around, ive seen them walking around at Bonnaroo, and at house of Blues I saw David Murphy (bass player) outside of the dining center and he wa smoking a cig, i actually talked to him an was pretty cool
They are great people though, i remember at bonnaroo they were handing out candy and passing out water bottles, and pulled girls backstage to stand in front of the JUMBO fan, there just great people ive seen them about four times and i cant wait to see them again!

    check out their live music
    www.sts9.com

Live music is the best on E. I love going to blues bars on E, just listening to them fucking whale. But my best roll would have to be at the Pink Floyd Laser Light Show; three white supermans, flyod, and some kind bud.

bonding with freinds is ussually my second favorite activity, seriously dancing is the best though with the loss of self consiousness that Ive found comes more naturally with time, otherwise have you considered fliping your candy? then you can just laugh yourself mad to the swirly rainbow flowers that keep coming out of everywhere (on a good one anyway)

Music aside I had a really awesome time swimming while I was rolling on time, you set your body temp up alot by working out on MDMA and then the pool regulates it, feels really cool, I got the maddest wood that wouldn't go away when my girlfreind gave me a really nicw backrub though, kind of embarrassing[IMG], try to avoid that

Not techno, my friends--house. House music is the name of the game:

Dub Deluxe - True Housemusic (side a)

Royksopp - What Else is There (Trentemoller remix)

Armand Van Helden - The Witch Doctor
