I was treated for depression last year. I've become a LOT more outgoing and content with life than I was then. But, she wants me to quit smoking. I don't even smoke cigarettes! Just bud! That kind of bothered me. I'm happy even when I'm not high.
I was treated for depression a few years back. My doctor credited marijuana with curing my depression. He said that it was the main reason for my improvement, as far as he could tell. If you feel happier smoking, then continue to smoke.
He also said that it helped me overcome the symptoms of my ADHD. Something that Ritalin could never accomplish.
^just curious, but was he referring to while you were high, or the after effects of being mellow too?
He was referring to my over all mental health. He said that I seemed happier after I had started smoking. Even after it had been a couple of days since I had smoked, he said it was an improvement over where I was when I was first diagnosed with the depression.
ya i've noticed that since i've started toking i'm alot more eased when i'm not high and alot happier overall, I also look at life in a different way, I feel enlightened if you will...
Same here. My doctor gave me pills for depression, general anxiety disorder, and ADHD. They helped some of the symptoms, but the side effects completely fucked me up. Then I started smoking, stopped taking all the toxic pharmaceuticals, and learned how to deal with shit better. Herb totally balanced my life. It has to be good sensi though.
thats bullshit. doctors have tried to pull that shit on me before to. saying that it lowered my motivation and made me depressed. it isnt pot that made me depressed it was just like, certain circumstances and things like that. not a fuckin plant. i wouldnt worry about your doctor, he probably himself has never toked so he probably doesnt know what hes talking baout.
