I was taking a walk one night, and I walked a bit farther than usual, and I came to this place where there was alot of trees by the side of the road, it was like a little mini-forest. I decided to walk into the trees and sit there for a while, I walked home a bit later on and thought nothing of it. A couple of days later I had a dream about this place. In the dream I was kneeling on the ground in this little mini-forest, and I was setting fire to a pile of roses in front of me. The second time I had this dream, it was the same, but instead of kneeling on the ground, I was sitting on something. When I looked down at what I was sitting on, it was myself, lying on the ground like I was dead. So I was like sitting on a dead double of myself.
You obviously felt refuge and peace in this mini forest you found. You sitting on your own death symbolizes a defeat over a personal affair...in your favor. You have or will overcome something you had doubts about for quite some time. The burning roses make me feel as though someone whom you love or admire deeply has wronged you in some way, and rather than confront it---you desire to make it go away as though it never happened. It will be there until you deal with it.
RollingTechnique sometimes in dream we tap into energy that is not ours from origin. We are all connected and are just energy ourselfes. By dealing with it we make it ours. By letting it go, we change again. Where it will take you is up to your own deeper intent and desire to come home within yourself ... being open to the mystery of who you are rather than to the explanations. So to me it seems that you were drawn by some energy stored in the forest in order to change your own self and gain insight about who you are ... beyond this lifetime, and beyond all dreams. Just keep on going a little bit further than usual
