hey...is anyone in these forums from Iowa or surrounding areas? I'm always looking to meet new like minded people, and people to smoke with. I currently live in Iowa City.
I don't know if you're still coming to the forums, but I am from Iowa. I live in Des Moines, but I travel to Iowa City frequently. I LOVE Iowa City!! I am looking to meet more people from Iowa as well- have met some drummers who i'm looking forward to getting with this year.
hello! i am from kansas...bout 3 hrs or so from iowa. Ive only been to Dubuque and Aimes....only visited for a short while but it seemed like a nice place to me If any of you are comin to wakarusa you should let me know...its practically in my backyard.
yes i have numb....ive been both two years. This year looks to be again on the right track as they JUST announced the lineup for June 8-11. Some of the big names are BEla Fleck and the Tones, Keller Williams, Robert Randolph, Lotus, Pnuma, Bernie Worrell (of Parliament Funkadelic and Les Claypools side band),Yonder Mountain String Band, and there will be more announced soon as well. Its been the best times of my life the past two years and i think no.3 is going to be even better.
I realize that this thread is fairly old, but I just moved to a little town near Missouri Valley, Iowa. I don't know where half of these places you guys are talking about are yet, I have only been living in Iowa for about a month now.
