I've been a fan of Mr. S. since he played with Miles Davis . I love his recent album where he plays the music of Ray Charles. Great musician and very distinctive.
My favorite jazz guitarist. Combines funk with a bluesy guitar tone to create very unique/ psychedelic jazz. I also enjoy Al Dimeola, Django Reinhardt, Frank Gambale, Alan Holdsworth, Wes Montgomery, and Paco De Lucia
BUMP... good album, i just realized how similar his playing style was to Charlie HUnter,,, rips and 8 string guitar.
