Hello there….. I am new to the whole on-line community thing, but dig the idea of it! I am however a bit overwhelmed at the massive amount of posts on this site. I suppose it will just take some time to adjust to the site, and cipher through it. Anyone willing to clue me in, much appreciated. It’s nice to share a piece of the online galaxy, and have an imprint. I currently live in Las Vegas, and hate it! I have plans to move to Houston in a few months, so anyone out there with some insight also appreciated. I also have a degree in Social Work, but considering to make a change over into teaching, always willing to share insight with others who share common interest! Well, then…..for now, nice to meet you! nocornflakegirl

"Is the grass always green on the other side of the hill or in another city?" Hey there nocornflakegirl, "Sitting on a cornflake waiting for the van to come." Houston's cool and it's close to Galveston and the Gulf, lots to do and see. Great nightlife, if that’s your thing. Anyway, Let me extend the welcome mat. I recently found "The Hip Forums" myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to "Flame" you, that just isn’t tolerated here (unless it’s necessary) lol. We get some assholes here who just want to stir up bad vibes... From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, put on some groovy tunes, kick back and stay awhile. Peace & Love, DDR "Never, never, ever take candy from a stranger unless they give the candy up front."Yea Baby, Whatever You Say!!
