HIM anyone?

Any HIM fans on here?

 

I tried to give HIM a chance, but it just seems like goth/glam-rock. Yeah, I don't really like goth/glam-rock.

 

No, but I'm a fan of their live shows. They have this amazing energy going on there. Their music is alright, but it's not... my cup of tea so to speak.

I still remember those times, when HIM was a pretty unknown band and they only had small club gigs here in Helsinki. And now they're touring in USA! It's awesome, good for them!

 

I think they make great music, but you can't call me a real "fan" (than you have posters of them, all their cds,... -> I haven't :& ) I just appreciate their music a lot.
I must say that "Guitar God" has probably right: gothic-glam rock describes HIM (sort of).
Another great thing about HIM is the way they look: a little bit theatrical (maybe dramatic is a better word) and I just love that ! You can also see this dramatics in their videos (if mtv or any other music station would play them more of course )

There music alright but what does that matter when the front man is Ville Valo!!!

 

I dont really listen to HIM but my friend has asked me to go with her to see 'em in concert, i am goin so they better be gd

 

I love HIM. Deep Shadows...is a really good album.

 

I am a huge HIM fan!!! I have 3/5 albums( soon to get more) and i love them all. I also went to see them at the Barrowlands in Glasgow and it was amazing ( despite being crushed in the proccess)!! Their music is great and Ville Valo is amazing! dont like his look now but he is still stunning! lol

I found them to be a tad too gothicly "heavy" for my taste, but some songs are alright. Nothing spectacular... In the whole "Gothic metal" scene, I'd much rather stick to Stravatorious and Nightwish...

 

His look is awsome. I think that Ville is VERY VERY hot.! Their music is awsome too. I have 2 of their cds. And I love their music.

 

HIM is goth/glam? i always thought they were another silly emo indie pop band or metalcore/emocore band. i'll give em a try.

 

Buy Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights first. Catchy as hell.

 

yeah, i gave HIM a chance, and i actually liked then quite a bit for a while. i got tired of them after a while, and i dont ever listen to them anymore though. i guess i just grew out of it. for gothrock, theyre alright. thats not saying much though, cause i pretty much hate all goth
