i guess a few years of being a bum gets your account removed...and to think i used to spend every waking moment on the computer.

went from vegas back to my old stomping grounds in portland. it used to be a nice place now its just a bunch of fucking tweakers. god damn meth can ruin your life (friends & robbers) without even touching the shit yourself.

i spent about a year being homeless. it's somewhat overrated - most of the time i was bored, hungry, and/or cold. you don't really worry about being bored unless you take care of the other two, but once you have that under control there's really not much to do. portland (eugene too for that matter) has a hell of a lot of bums.

i now have a roof over my head and i'm planning on taking a trip to visit twin oaks in the next 6 months once i pay off a few debts. i've always thought that i'd enjoy living in a commune, ever since i read a book about twin oaks when i was 12. now its 13 years later, and for the last nine i've been building pyramids (daniel quinn) and i'm sick and tired of it.

well that's me. you'll find me in the book, computer, communal living, and pot forums...as if anyone cares. most of my life i've waited for my turn to speak, but i'm trying real hard to listen.

Hey there Cfeedback, tweakers are everywhere and yes it certainly does ruin lives. As for being homeless, I’ve been there myself. Luckily for me, I still had my guitar and could get tips playing at the beach, so at least I could eat, most of the time. Thank God, it was in Southern California, so it wasn’t too cold. I kept a journal of that time and reading back through it, I get some very good ideas for blues songs that I do. Anyway,

Let me extend the welcome mat. I recently found "The Hip Forums" myself and I know what it’s like to be a newcomer. You don’t really know what to say or how to act. Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed. When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet. Nobody here is going to "Flame" you, that just isn’t tolerated here (unless it’s necessary) lol. We get some assholes here who just want to stir up bad vibes... From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters. Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, put on some groovy tunes, kick back and stay awhile. Peace & Love, DDR

would fix it so the intonation,
    would not offend your ear."
