i wear toerings almost all the time, and i can't believe how sexy it makes my feet feel. no one haas ever commented on them, not that i would care anyway, because you should do whatever you want., besides i think i have great looking feet.
I love my toe rings and have been very upset that I had to take one off recently that I've worn for three years. It was a plain wide gold band but it had started pinching very bad lately. The other is my favorite and I've had that one on for about six years now.. Its a wide and very thick silver band with a simple greek key design. I liked the balance of having one gold and one silver on opposite feets. I love ankle braclets but most I find hit my ankle bone oddly and end up getting popped off because I don't take them off. This made me think...Imma just make my own..A leather strap and a well chosen bead or dangley...YAY! I want very much to get a tattoo on the top off my foot but I can't get past the fact that I know it will be extremely painful. Even the artist said so. I'm a wuss on stuff like that.
gdhmom.......nice toe ring on your picture, i wear mine 24/7 they're sized so you don't even know you're wearing any.
Agreed. Nice feet! I also like those moonlit pictures in your gallery. Very sensuous! Both of my toe rings are sized as well, but mine can pinch during the day depending on the temperature or my activity level. If my feet swell at all the toe rings can get a little tight and I feel them then. But most of the time they are actually a tad loose, owing to my having lost weight recently. I only take them off for the few hours a week that I hit the gym - nothing bothers me more if I have to put on shoes than feeling my toe ring rubbing around uncomfortably.
In the 8 or 9 years I've been wearing toe rings regularly, I could probably count on my hands the amount of other guys I've seen wearing them as well. We're out there, and I do think it's becoming more accepted. But yeah I agree it's nice to know you're not alone! Hello!
Ty toeringguy and Barematt~! I never take mine off but for some reason, now and again they start biting badly. I've only had the silver one off twice in six years but the gold one just wouldn't stop so I finally took it off. I know I'll try again with it...after I find the sucker! The one time was for a foot rub. That was delicious and well worth temporary ring removal! edit...I don't know any men that wear them around here at all. I love rings and think its such a nice and personal touch.
I have a couple of toe rings I wear all the time. They're not sized, but I've found that once they "find their place" on my toes they don't pinch, and I hardly know I have them on. They're both silver. I used to have a gold one, but it broke and fell off at some point. I think the silver ones are more durable than the gold ones, and they're also much less expensive.
Well, like I said, I've had mine many years. Its just now and then they start pinching. The silver are usually available thicker than the gold ones because of cost. I wish my puter was working right...I made a really nice anklet with leather and a pretty charm. ah well...
I wear an anklet made out of sea shells on my right ankle... I got it in Brazil, it's quite pretty... I also wear toe rings but I always manage to lose them
I love foot decor! I wear 2 toe rings on my right foot and I usually have my toenails painted. I have also added some tattoos to the mix... a star on my left foot, big toe; and a butterfly on my inner heel right foot.
I also wear my toes polished and recently began wearing a toe ring, courtesy of my lovely wife. On Valentine's day last year she treated me to the most wonderful pedicure - complete with a deep toe massage and a nice blue polish! Okay, maybe there was wine involved, but none the less, she did such a nice job that I complimented her by wearing it until it began to wear off. Then, the other day after I had complimented her toe ring, she found me a silver ring, a bit wider than hers with an ancient scroll design etched around the band. I really like it, it dresses up my otherwise plain-looking feet. Sorry I don't have any photos to share, but I'll post when we're together and our feet aren't so white from the winter.
I have considered a toe ring or two, but never went through with it. My favourite foot "decoration" is the sticky mud from the local country parks.
Toe rings and anklets ROCK, baby! Any self-respecting barefooter should have at least a few. That goes double for us barefoot girls
