So frustrating: the anti-weed kids

Hi everyone, hope you are all doing good!

I just came to tell you about something which really annoys me - example:

"I'm really worried about my best mate, she's dating this guy, and he's a bad kid, smokes pot and all that, what should I do? I'm worried she'll start smoking pot"

Basically - other kids that think anyone who smokes weed is a bad person. They are like the perfect "ignorant parents/government ideal" child.

I got told to shut the fuck up for defending a fellow stoner from a gang of people verbally abusing him for his choice to smoke weed. The people doing the shouting were much worse people than this kid - who is not a bad person at all.

I know there is nothing I can do on my own to undo what the government has done, but some people are so ignorant it hurts.

 

yeah, its frustrating. but after so much propaganda what can you expect? its only those who dare to try this 'deadly' substance that can see the truth about it.

 

Fuck 'em. If they don't want to think for themselves, they're never gonna know the truth.

to the OP: but i'm also assuming your probably still in high school, where basically everyones an idiot, so give it some time, one day their eyes will be opened and they'll see the mistakes thay've made...
ignore them, and know that theyre just making complete idiots of themselves.
unless you want to make a big 'weed: know your facts' class haha

Oh, alright.

 

every chance i had to speak about how good marijuana was in high school i did. In my government class we had to propose a bill, and mine was the legalization of marijuana. Also, for my senior paper/presentation i did the legalization of marijuana. In both classes, the large majority of kids did not smoke, but each time i got quite a reaction from my peers. My english teacher also said my legalization paper was the best one she had ever read. If you really want to put in the effort, and if you are given an oppritunity to do something in front of your peers, i suggest putting together a convincing argument for legalization and presenting it not only to your classmates but your teachers, i know i changed at least a few kid's perspectives. However, it is tedious to put together a well thought out argument, and i did come from a slightly liberal town (champaign, il, where the U of I is)

if you don't really want to do something that involved, i guess you can just take consolation in knowing you're right...people are pretty ignorant sometimes

 

i know what u mean man...i have a friend that i used to toke with(i was kinda his 'mentor') he got caught by his dad and says he wont never do it again. Now he says ok i will go to the parade with you(the Sihk perade that gives out free food and will be fuckin bomb) only if you make some brownies or somthing because im not going to smoke.......wut the fuck!? its the same damn thing mostly, i get so frusterated i just wanna slap the shit out of him....its not really like your story but i just wanted to prove how ignerant SOME people are...

 

Some asshole was saying shit to me about smoking once, so I threatened to punch him in the face if he ever said 1 thing to me again and that pretty much scared him straight, I didn't even have to lay a finger on him

Its pretty ignorant to misspell ignorant. Who gives a shit if he doesnt want to smoke, if it saves his ass from getting caught again and still gets him high then why not? I have a bunch of friends that are anti pot, the majority of them arent that bright. You can really tell pot destroys your future and makes your grades fall, even though I get better grades and take more honors classes than any of my anti-pot friends.

 

I get this problem at school, i'm 15 and know as one of the bad ones at school. But i only smoke weed and drink. Guess i was like that, at 8 i decided never to smoke or drink or have sex . . not sure what happened really. Its their choice to not to smoke weed but they should keep their opinions to their selfs

 

not to go off yer topic, but this made me think of the movie "the 40 year old virgin", the part where the white guy with the girlfriend problem says "now shes dating a pot dealer, which is a stupid stupid decision, but hey, thats her journey man". i have no clue why this line was thrown in the movie, since he smokes bud throughout the movie...

 

All the emo kids in my school i used to smoke with a few but then they went emo like straightened ther hair and put on girl pants and started to say im straight edge and bitch at people for smokeing weed and i just well want to like smack em or sumthin u know?

 

i myself used to be anti-pot thanks to the good ole US of A, moved to mexico and my gf was a heavy pot smoker....i looked down upon it but usually kept my opinions to myself... I tried it twice, but didn't convince me since i wasn't really doing it right, but i knew i was on to something big...until about a year ago when my buddy out of nowhere invited me to smoke and that was well, a life changing moment. i fell deeply in love, and now know that weed will be a part of my life until the day i die, which hopefully, i'll be stoned out of my mind

I have anti pot kids always telling me that its stupid and i shoudnt do it,even though they have never tried doing it. And if i ask them why it is so evil and bad they say its becuse of the smoke damaging my lungs. Then you dont see them telling all this shit to the kids who smoke normal cigs do you....GAAAH they annoy me...hehe (and not GAAAH as in the norweigon super model kind of GAAAH, GAAAH as in anger GAAAH) wow im on a ranting day lol
