Something has got me really thinking here. It makes absolute sense if deaf parents use attachment parenting. This is in the sense of co-sleeping, baby wearing etc. With baby wearing you can see what the baby is upto constantly. If the parent is deaf being in visual contact becomes very important. Plus wearing the baby you can respond to the babys cues a lot quicker. With co-sleeping parents can be easly aroused if the baby wakes up and needs something. I also wonder what it would be like for a hearing kid to grow up with deaf parents. I am pretty sure there are children of deaf parents on here with something to say. I wonder if there are any deaf parents here who would like to share their experiences. Peace love and cookies
