Hello All... I'm in the wedding party of a bachelor's party of 12 headed to Amsterdam for 3 (very short) days and nights in Feb '06. Airlines tickets and hotel accomodations have already been made, but we have a problem... No one in the group has ever been to Amsterdam. Please help!!!

Given the short duration of the trip and the number of attendees, we've decided that it would be quite difficult to keep the group together the whole time. So, we've agreed on 2 or 3 events that I'll need recommendations for.

    1) strip club/theater?
    2) dinner with the group ($15-$35) per person?
    3) Dance club (preferably house or techno music)

Any recommendations or additional ideas would be greatly appreciated. I realize that I have 4 months to plan, but the pressure of 11 guys and a bachelor to please is becoming a burden.

    Thanks and Cheers!

    John

P.S. we do plan on going to the RLD and coffee shops, however this activity will require mandatory attendance of the group.

I'd recommend just getting there, have your first smoke of the trip and take it from there. You could arrange something for every day your there and I would put money on these plans going out of the window after the first day...

It just doesnt work like that in the Dam, that is the beauty of the place :)

amsterdam has too much to offer..... If going for such a short and special occasion i must disagree swasw1. planning would definately be a good idea just to save time. ofcourse the plan can be loose and maliable but a plan is in order to make an incredible memory for the groom

also, going to coffeeshops in a group of 12 i imagine would be pretty tough, a lot of them are pretty small. We use to go around in groups of like 8 or 10 of us. but we spent most of our time stnading on the street confused and trying to decide where to go! the sex shows that line RLD seem to be very popular with stag parties. (bananabar, casa rossa) the only clubs i know of are escape, paradiso, but never been there. there are plenty more. not sure about what restaurants to reccomend. dutch food never really excited me. but those falafel's, my god!
