So I finally got around to watching Donnie Darko. Great Flick. But I was fully not liking the end. dodnt even tye the knots. any way, anyone else ever been let down by a movie ending?
the last harry potter movie, it led me to believe there was gunna be abig climax at the end of the movie, there wasnt, the rest of the movie was good but the ending really sucked
i loved that movie. but i thought there was gunna be more to it too, i think there was more to it in the book.
I thought Donnie Darko had a good ending... Sad, but it made perfect sense. What was it you felt wasn't completed? peace, -Pat
I cant say exactly. I know I was totally into the movie...and then nothing that happened ever happened.......I didnt like that.
Right, I forgot to write which ending I thought sucked... Well, A.I. had a terrible ending for sure. The film itself wasn't that good either, but it would have been ok if it had ended with the boy/robot being stuck underwater through eternity. The 15 or so minutes of aliens picking him up and stuff was just too much of sentimental drivel. Well, that's my opinion anyway. peace, -Pat
The ending of Donnie Darko sucked? Please, the whole fucking thing did. It was very similar to Catcher In The Rye. A clever idea, but it never came within ten miles of its potential. And the acting was mediocre at best. It tried to be another Fight Club or Sixth Sense, but instead came out as another Unbreakable. What a shame. That flick could've been good.
i hated the ending of bladerunner. it ran on too long. i think it's shoulda ended with the "death" of dolf lundgren's character, in the rain, with the dove flying away. i loved donnie darko and thought the end was perfect. i really liked the end of blair witch, too. i like succinct mental images, something that'll stick in your head.
