I was a great fan of Zuvya, the precursor band, and I absolutely love Jamie Janover (to those who don't know, this is a Mike Travis of SCI project).
I have yet to see a bad show by any of the versions of Z.
Definitely their own thing, not a GD-Ratdog dichotomy.

Worth the ticket and up to four hours travel, I'd say. ( I routinely traveled 5 hours when I lived in Oklahoma, so I do guage effort to get there with the experience.)

    Go. Have a great time.

    hey sister!

thanks for the advice! we just came off a 3day cheese run & i was thinking that might be it for our fall fun, but fortunately the south is still getting some love! yea....something to keep away those winter blues! :)
plus, the shows are super cheap ($8 each) & in VERYsmall venues...now who could pass that up?!

    GET TIX EARLY.
once ppeeps figure out who it is, the sales will swamp...at least they do here..
(this is a joke. I live within an hour of half of SCI and an hour of the rest EVERYONE knows this project...and it does sell out venues)

i figure the georgia shows will sell out, but never sure about bama.
southern support is so unpredicatable! both of the venues in alabama are tiny little bars, so it won't take much to crowd them out anyway!
thanks for advice, sister, hopefully i'll have some funds next week :)
