hey, does anyone know how to read palms?
feel free to post your results or your hand if you would like someone to read your palm

    here's a good site to help: http://www.ofesite.com/spirit/palm/lines.htm

my life line: indicate a cautious life
style, and perhaps a limited love life. The break in your Life Line may be an
indicator of an accident or serious illness. This break is an indication of a
sudden change in your life situation.

my head line: indicates a logical and direct way
of thinking. The straighter the line, the more realistic the thinking, and the
deeper the line, the better the memory. A chained Head Line shows agitation and
tension at different points in your life. The joining of your Head Line and
Life Line at the beginning indicates that your strong sense of mind generally
rules over your body. You also look at childhood with a cautious and fearful
    outlook.

my heart line: A slight disregard to the true
meaning of love and its responsibilities are indicated.
    You tend to easily give
your heart away. A long Heart Line like yours, running almost all the way
across the palm, represents an idealist in love. In love you tend to look for
those whose status rises above your own, and you have a great respect for them.
Those little lines you see running downward from your Heart Line indicate
    disappointments in love.

so freaking true about my high expectations in love and disappointments, and i do tend to give my heart away easily. i see everything very accurate.

I don't mean to be rude, but palm reading used to be done by gypsies, mostly to trick non-gypsies into giving up their money. Even the gypsies, who do believe in psychic powers, don't believe palm reading tells you anything.

I know they didn't invent it, but I'm just saying that even more superstitious cultures don't believe in palm reading.

its just all in fun. I just thought it would be a fun thing to do. alot of these "readings" that are out there are really for self-reflection. It didnt even come across to me at all that ppl would think that its stupid, or i wouldnt have posted it. i just thought that ppl that are bored and would like to compare readings and play with it would have some fun. im not a "palm reading" freak or anything. I just like to look into all of the different kinds of readings. I find them interesting. It was just a fun little game. didnt think ppl would take it like this.
