I find some of my second cousins

extremely attractive. is there something wrong with me?? I feel like it is wrong, and that I would be the epitome of a redneck for having the hots for a cousin.....

 

i have a hot cousin, doenst mean i'd do her, but im well aware of the fact that she's hot.

i agree with the above. theres nothing wrong with it, just dont act out on it. my boss's brother married his third cousin and both their kids turned out to be really slow in the head, so something isnt right there.

 

I've said it many times... but my grandparents were first cousins. My grandpa's parents were first cousins, and my great grandpa's parents were first cousins. I have 10 fingers and 10 toes... and a family tree that is a stick.

the whole tabboo issue in the u.s. and some other countries was started by the catholic church long ago, claiming certain "facts" that were faaar from facts.

it's more of a social issue really. if two FIRST cousins were to get pregnant, there chances of having birth defects are exactly 1% higher then that of the general population. a woman over the age of 40 that gets pregnant has a 10% increase over the general population of defects and mental retardation.

second cousins.... eh....

of course there are still many countries in the world where it is considered DESIRABLE to marry your first cousin... actually that is considered the social norm and a sign of status in more countries then not.

that said, im not gonna run out and marry my first cousin but what the hell... if i was single and i was drunk and had a hot second cousin and ended up kissing him or her, i wouldnt hang myself.

dave has this extremely hot cousin who definitely likes him VERY much. and when i mentioned it, dave was like "no she doesn't, she's my cousin!" well, shit, dave's ADOPTED, therefore not really her cousin. not that it would matter to a lotta people anyway.

on an amusing side note, his sister was dating this guy whom she later found out was her cousin. AHAHAHA. too funny. i didn't see the problem with it. their great grandmothers were sisters. i think that's far enough apart, don't you?

anyway, finding a cousin attractive isn't sick at all. in fact, i wouldn't think that acting on it is sick, either.
