...that if we are not in our own houses, the chances are, about 90% of our time we are being watched through CCTV... That freaks me out that while I am in town, no matter where i am, there is no chance in hell that someone isnt watching my every action... Its just like nineteen eighty-four aint it tho??
according to GTA San Andreas, there are no less than 27 satellites watching your every move no matter where you are.
My friend Mark is making a movie about our school having cameras all over the place for film class. Im going to help. I hope we get our point across successfully.
what is CCTV? and how/why would "they" watch everyone? if up in the middle of no where mountains and "they" still me ? Arnar
They gonna watch me and then what? Seems like a big waste of time to watch me. I just sit here all day.
just caus they film you doesnt mean they watch it. they onl watch it if theyre lookin for something. GET OUT OF AMERICA
He has a serious point, Where ever you are people are watching... As for The Truth (the man who said the san andreas quote) he may be a fictional character but he knows his stuff. The man is always watching you. What would you say if i told you that govenment men had infiltrated computer company's and personaly made sure every pc has a tracker that beams everything you do straight to the pentagon.
ive thought of stuff like that. like what if all our televisions and/or pc's/laptops have little cameras in them? jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez
i doubt seriously that our tvs laptope etc have cameras unless you yourself have them for some footage of yourself However CCTV is a little scary here in the UK, there are more CCTV per area then any where alse in the world. I think the fact I read was that the average urban Briton is caught on camera up to 300 times a day!! Which is why it is a relief now living in a small town, i got used to them in the city been everywhere, schools, roads, disliked them but they were part of life in the city, here in the countryside it is great not seeing CCTV, i don't actually think i have seen one single camera outside Michael x
anyone know where I can get some more information on this subject....you've sparked my interest in this subject.
this guy i know who is really into conspiracy theories and and stuff like that reckons that new digital televisions are outfitted with a tiny little camera, and think about it, it makes sense, if a satellite is sending information down into our tvs why wouldnt they go the extra step to send information back to the satellite? they can monitor everything, and its not only surveillence for the sake of national security, its ALL ABOUT CAPITALISM, if advertising companies know what goes on in the secrecy of average joe's home, it makes it a million times easier to know what the demographic is and sell sell sell
That makes the most sense to me. We are being "watched" all the time if you think about the Air Miles Card, or those cards that you get at shoppers Drug Mart to save up points on things you buy. Companies are "spying" to see what you buy most of there. The rest, about people watching us in our houses, I don't think that the "average Joe" is that important for them to be watching us. I remember when I first heard about the satellite technology if freaked me out for about a second, then I realized I"m not that important. Is CCTV in cities that big of a problem? Do you feel like it is an invasion of privacy? In the city where I went to school, a hit and run was solved becase of CCTV. Hrm... I'm not sure how I feel now. I think, I don't care if I'm on CCTV because #1. I'm not breaking any laws and #2. No one would waste any time and watch my boring life on t.v. Or are you all watching me right now?
I don't see what the big deal is. I mean like who cares if they are watching you or not? I never understood the big uproar about invasion of privacy and stuff like that. As long as they're not selling the stuff (cuz I want my share of the money!) what's the big deal? So people are looking at you... I think what the major problem is everyone always thinks they're so important all the time like some crazy is gonna stare at you all day. They probably hardly watch the stuff of you! It's mostly for crime and like someone said before consumer goods. And what's wrong with that? If people can give me more products and make my life safer what's it to me if there's a camera? I mean it's not like you're doing anything weird. So walk to the store or wash your car in the driveway... OMG I don't want anyone seeing that! Sheesh... besides if you ARE outside of your home there are people on the street seeing you so what's the difference if "they" see you?
