Ramones Anyone??

Hey, at my school everyone is obsessed with the Ramones. I think they're okay, but kind of over rated. What do you guys think?

 

They were not the greatest of musicians, BUT they WERE pure rock 'n' roll!

 

they aren't amazing musicians but there stll great

 

i enjoy some ramones every once in awhile. they're songs always seem to pump me up and ALWAYS put a smile on my face. not my absolute fav band but they are pretty good.

 

i dont really no anything about them but from what iv heard they were good

 

I mean,i do enjoy a bit of them every so often, but i just think that they are slightly over rated.

 

I agree they are overated but sometimes they are fun to listen to. I don't know why some people I know consider them to be the greatest band ever they are far from it.

 

I like them, but I don't listen much to punk anyway. I listen to a some punk songs from the 70's and a bit of Green Day from the 90's. The Ramones have a good song I like from 1975, "I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend". They made music in the 70's that was more like the 50's and early 60's than the other music of the 70's.

I quite like "Something To Believe In" and "Poison Heart" too.

 

Practically no one at my school listens to them, but I LOVE them. I just love the music, I can listen to Rocket to Russia or Ramones ten times in a row and never get tired of it.

 

They are also one of my favourites ATM.

I Wanna Be Sedated, My Brain Is Hanging Upside Down and The KKK Took My Baby away are my favourites though gotta like Blitzkrieg Bop
