oh and bo jackson played baseball too.

i dont know what happened to joe theisman, but i guess lawrence taylor took him out and isnt proud of it.

bo jackson had to have his whole hip replaced after a game against the cincinnati bengals back in 91(ish?). he still played baseball after that, but not football.

Lawrence Taylor sacked Joe Theisman and broke his leg during a November 18, 1985 game that was nationally televised. Theisman's shin could clearly be seen snapping backward with both the tibia and fibula protruding through. TV showed the hit and injury over and over ad nauseum for a couple weeks afterward.
