this is what u do, take a little money out of your paycheck use it for marijuana only, and have it last u 2 weeks. u will probbly run out before then, and guess what u will have to go the remainign time w/o weed! it lowers my tolerance also. get like an 1/8 of dank for $50 try and have it last u 2 weeks. so everypaycheck take out $50 for marijuana only.
an 1/8 every two weeks!? i smoke like and 1/8 every two days, sometimes in one...if i want to stop smoking to lower tolerance or sav money, i just stop for a few days. Even a day or two will make a difference.
when i first stopped smoking i didnt smoke again for 3 months. it was like smoking for the first time all over again, but that much better because i knew what i was doing. seriously one of the best highs i've ever had, really enjoyable. right now i haven't smoked for about 4 or 5 months, and i probably won't do so again until after christmas. i can't wait
RE: Continuing use of marijuana because of free pot is not related to addiction Not being able to stop but wanting to is addiction.
That's where you're wrong. Wanting to smoke FREE WEED is not an addiction. I do it all the time, but I can go for weeks w/o pot.
The desire to smoke zero weed combined with the inability to resist free weed indicates a lack of willpower. Is that addiction? Does calling it "addiction" help anything?
That's exactly what I was going to say in my poast earlier, I was just way too fried to remember what I was gonna say when I started typing.
obviously smoking free weed isnt an addicition, that makes no sense. continually smoking weed while the smoker wants to stop is an addiction, regardless of how much it costs, as has been said.
I could never understand how anyone could pass-up some free weed. I would just assume bite half of my tongue off.
LOL Honestly I think a lot of people on this board go a little far talking about weed addiction. Anything can be habit forming. I'm just as "addicted" to whacking off. Which is healthy by the way. It's obvious a lot of people here have limited experience with actual addictive drugs. Which is a good thing, but it is what I see.
what I find kind of amusing with this thread is that you say its not addictive, yet when someone asks you if youd like to smoke, you cant turn it down....... is there something wrong here??
ok...people who are questioning, "If you can quit, then why don't you regardless of it being free." Well, he does want to quit...but once it's free, he doesn't want to quit. There. Christ, some of you are so damn nickpicky and obscene smartasses sometimes it's ridiculous. Grow up and fucking absorb the situation before you try to sound witty and all knowing about a subject. That's a serious problem with this world, people always have to take things at absolute face value, when they obviously know that if they inferred a certain way they'd be inferring correctly, but just so they can sound like they have a new, interesting, and "correct" opinion, they offer the incorrect one just to boost their own damn ego a little bit more. I'm sorry for e-yelling.
whats an incorrect opinion? this argument is silly, but first off he asked for ADVICE. "any advice?" If he chose to smoke free pot and decided not to quit for the time being, he wouldnt be asking for advice would he?
how can anyone deny that there is a problem when someone wants to stop doing something and theyre not stopping it? maybe some of you can quit easily. fine, thats great, so what, you just belittle people who do have problems? no one is perfect, some people intuitively exert less self control than others. some people have no problem smoking weed! but some do! all that matters is the people who do! they want help! why pass them off as weaklings? why assume theyre imagining these problems? when someone says 'i want to stop smoking weed' then it means their life is not the way they want it. period. a rats arse wouldnt give half a shit for people saying 'oh its not that bad, i WISH i was in your position!' or 'be a man you weakling! i can do it any time i wanted, so can you'; if in this position. who cares if its true? 1% of posts on this subject are productive or compassionate to someone in a pickle. and CC, saying that people here have little or no experience with any real addictions is like a war veteran not giving a shit about adolescents getting into fights and bullying, simply because there are worse things out there. there is a problem. and no one wants to admit theres a problem because that would make it impossible for dope to be perfect
