Ok, I am looking for advice from some of you who have a lot of experience. I have a good friend who is a dealer and sells his fair share. About 2 Oz. every week, not huge, but average sales. I have the wear-with-all to get myself going, but all I really want is to make my smoke for free, and about $50-$100 a month. I don't want to be a full blown dealer. Just make money off my friends while hooking them up. So here's the question: what would you do if you were me?? How would you go about it?? (money, is not a problem, reasonably of course.)
Odd how everyone who asks this has a abnormally low post count... I would suggest buying 3 to 5 times the amount you normally smoke a month (depending on the prices in your area), then selling enough to meet the difference. Because your goal is purely toking for free and not getting cash, you wont have to worry about profit margins inless you end up with less money then you started with.
first thing you need is decent amount of people to sell to. if theyre strangers you gotta work out a secure system to organisation. if friends? get your weed, get some plastic bags, and just sell it
OK, this is what I do when I want free smoke I buy about an ounce of mids, and a quarter of Dro...I don't sell the dro...I sell all of the mids...real cheap prices...now I get an O of mids for 120...and I get my quarter of Dro for 90...that means I need to make 210 to break even Well, at that rate I'd have to sell for about 7.50 a gram...so what I do instead is sell half eigths for 10 (Cheaper than most around here...and I get better mids than them so all of my friends just get from me...the reason is I just get old outdoor dro instead of indoor actual mids...) Anyway, you have 28 grams in an ounce...1.7 in a half eigth...you have to sell about 10 bags like that. Then you're at 100 dollars and 11 grams left, I usually end up just coincidentally selling 10 grams to people I DO NOT KNOW...so for security reasons, they're 10 a gram. This 10 a gram gets me another 100 bucks. Now I'm up to 200 with a gram left, for just the sake of you figure I may throw a bit extra in a bag here and there. People will have the tendency to say, "How about I just throw you 10 bucks and you smoke me out?" Because if you have a safe place for people to smoke, maybe some food etc...they'll give you waaaaay more than if they bought the weed and smoked elsewhere. Anyway, the best I've ever done is I made 250 and then had my quarter of dro. It's pretty easy. Have fun, and be safe. Safety first, if someone threatens to steal your stuff (hasn't happened to me) just give it to them if they are serious...it's not worth your health...cops aren't going to be like, "LOOK THOSE KIDS ARE GOING TO BEAT UP THAT DEALER...HELP HIM!"...so just be safe...but if you aren't ripping anyone off, you will be.
Very true. But if your giving people good deals for good weed you wont get beaten. Hell, people will likely back you up if someone threatens you.
when i dealt to smoke for free, i'd just buy a half or an ounce...170 for a half, ~300-320 for an ounce... and then sell it at 20/g or 60/eighth (prices were high where i used to live) i never really had a rigid plan i had...cause i had a job and when i was selling, but i'd usually sell a couple eighths and a couple grams every half, leaving me with 4.5 and 160 bucks... you could just kinda gauge the rate you smoke and the rate you sell and go from there, but id usually buy as much as i could but if money isn't an issue and you're looking to make a little cash it's always best to go as big as you can and are willing to...at least an oz or two or maybe a qp?
I dealed for a long ass time and made alot of money from doing it... my advice is to always sell to make 5 more dollars then what you originally bought with. Say you spend 40 to get a quarter.... sell the weed to make 45 bucks. =)
I knew a kid who got a smack upside the head with a sock full of quarters over a dime bag. Be careful, dealers have dangerous schedules, and the hours suck.
you need people to sell it to and a good connection, something cheap. get an ounce or two or four at a time of the best weed you can get (people will always buy good pot) try not to pay much over $200. sell it for the norm $40 an eighth 10 for a gram. people will be happy and come back. when you buy the weed bust out a calculator, figure up how much you wanna smoke, sell, make in profit and separate your head from the weed to sell and stick to it. if you only wanna make $50 to 100 a month you should have no problem. i do that in 2-5 days.
