Me and a friend were at his house last weekend and we cleaned out the stem and bowl for my baby Miranda. We made the most killer hash and it didnt take that long either. Anyone else do that?
Yeah, I need to clean my pipe out. I used to do that all the time, but I think I've waited too long for it now, it's all hardened.
yeah man, what you scrape outta your pipe is not hash. i´d say it´s more "poor man´s hash" but nowhere near the real thing.
You can purify resin with a number of ways, personaly I would use industrial acetone(as it evaporates away very well)
actualy i dip my entire pipe into acetone, soak it scrape it, get it all into the acetone, dissolved into a few cups worth of it(IT will dissolve fast) then filter it with a coffee filter, squeeze it all out, and let it evaporate in a bowl, and the bowl will end up with some brown goo in the bottom. thc is very soluble in acetone, and acetone evaporates clean and quick don't use nail polish remover, use acetone from a hardware store.
When we make it, we just cover and scrape the piece in 70% Isopropyl Alcohol and then light the remaining rez-filled liquid on fire, wait for it to burn itself out, then microwave it for a few minutes until all the water is gone (since it's 30% water and 70% Iso)
You can put it in a joint, in a bowl, on a ciggarette, all that stuff. Just depends on how much you have/can manage to scrape.
butane is the cleanest, just make sure you use one thats mostly N-Butane, isobutane while cheaper leaves behind all sorts of crap. Nibo is a good one, when boiled off alone it leaves no visible residue. Don't use Ronson thats the worst. It's worth it to use it in your lighters to no butane taste. N-butane costs about twice as much as isobutane. Just put small balls of pipe resin in with the ground shake when your making honey oil.
