In the spirit of the Christmas season, are any of you dojg the Operation Christmas Child shoebox project? I was just wondering what sorts of things you were planning on putting in your's- I'd like to be semi-creative with mine and maybe sew or knit a couple of the things inside, plus the typical candy and glittery pens and such. i am.....im putting in little to cars that cost so little.....uh toys.....practical stuff like tbrush and paste....uh....soap...health things.....and toys really
i didnt put any crafty stuff in mine. i mostly put toys in it. i have to find out when the place in town is collecting them, i want to make sure someone gets it.
I'm glad you made this thread...I've done this before,but nearly forgot about it this year. Time sneaks up on ya.
i helped my kids make up boxes for operation christmas child. we put in markers, pad of coloured paper, fruit leather, pencil crayons and pencil sharpeners, small stuffed toys, finger puppets, . . . i can't remember what else, but the boxes were bulging, they were so full. it was our first time doing this. i think we will make up more next year, it was so fun! kathy
