Does anyone know if it can be saved somehow after it's fermented? I've got some partially fermented cider, but I don't want it hard. Can I get it back to normal by boiling it or something?
dude, are you kidding ? boiling cider !? Think about how dumb it is... Just put it in the cold (35F), fridge temperature. It will stop fermenting.
Yeah, I know. Problem is it was unpasteurized (really really good). It fermented in the fridge 'cause we didn't drink it fast enough. Nobody I live with likes it hard, so if there's no way to get it back to semi-normal, I think it's just going down the drain. Which on a college budget is a drag.
try adding apple juice (who knows?). if it doesn't work, be kind, i'm sure you can make lush's day by giving them free cider. i bought WAY too much liquor and sparkling wine once, cos i was tipsy and too optimistic. i had to go back home but i couldn't bring all that shit. so i just gave everything to a band of cool homeless people.
In Europe cider is principally 'hard'. You are all morons for coming up with soft cider, I hope you die.
No offense but I kind of agree with him. Whoever came up with the idea of soft cider was a moron. But whatever.
Some people (like me) don't like alcohol. SO... Hailtotheking: You're a close minded idiot. I hope you come to see things differently. Antimatter: I disagree. Peace.
