i see on the NORML website that if you have under an oz of mj and get caught, that in some states of the US you will get a most a payable fine that you can just pay like a speeding ticket. So have you or anyone you know been arrested for a little mj in New York, California, or Colorado?
Ive been thinking about moving to NY. When Im 25 or so. First two fines are 100 and 200 or something like that and then every subsequent one is 300 + 15 days max incar. lol.... its like oh no im making hand over fist selling crap and you have me in jail for 15 days, yeah ill be back lol.
Good point, in Chicago, if a cop sees you smokin a joint, for the most part they really don't even care, at least in the situations i've been in, also i heard that if they do just so happen to do something, it's usually just a fine, thats only for possession though, when you have a lot then they get pissed. But....one of my friends was caught in chicago with roughly an ounce and a half, and all the cops did was make him pour it on the ground and stomp on it, damn that woulda sucked to have to stomp on beautiful Mary Jane...
Yup. Here in Colorado, if your an adult, the most they can do is take your stuff and write a ticket, but most cops dont even ticket you. Too much effort.
